It's my birthday! I took today and tomorrow off of work. I've got a house full of weed and snacks and some shows to catch up on. Going to be a great lazy day :)

Getting ready to wrap a present. My youngest grandbaby is having her birthday party this afternoon. It's a bit late, her birthday was the 18th but, she's 2 ALREADY!!! It's insane. She was just a lil arm baby....

And yes, for those newcomers, I do have grandkids. 3 actually :D I was a young mama and now am a young Nama.
 
Digging through filing cabinets of negatives from the 90's to try and find one particular photo.
I really should hire a kid to put them all through a negative scanner and digitize the lot.
 
Getting dry after shaving and showering. Feel like me again after too long.
 
Sitting in front of the fireplace and looking up old threads. So many questions I could answer. It’s almost like Return of the Living Dead Threads. Spooky.
 
Reading the news headlines, watching the market react and contemplating sleeping a little more
 
Getting frustrated because I can’t delete pm’s, only leave the conversation. If the same person writes, it all reappears.

I am reading the lit chat thread and people complaining about being banned. I’ve never used the chat feature and forget it exists. People do get very upset about their bans and I find it entertaining to read that no one has ever done anything wrong and their bans are unjust. It sounds similar to the NBA where no one has ever commited a foul.
 
Watching another idiot being interviewed by the police about murder and not asking for an attorney. I’m glad the majority of criminals are this dumb.

Well -- if he has been read he Miranda warning and continues to talk, then you have to think it's really a choice on his part. Maybe the external world is just more chaotic than life in prison, and so getting arrested and going back into "the system" might be more comforting than living on the outside.
 
He and his wife are in their 20’s and haven’t been in the system before. He’s falling for the “police are my friends” deception. Oh well, he’s likely walked himself into a double homicide charge. Not that he doesn’t deserve it, but everyone is entitled to a defense.
