What are you doing?

I’ve never liked listening to my own voice but I guess, once again, I’m wrong. 😆

Yes if they keep coming back. There must be countless people out there who have glorious singing voices and keep it private and for their own personal joy.

I do….tonight I did a kitten like version of Santa Baby when in fact my voice is more Janice Joplin than sweet and syrupy.
To do Santa Baby and still have people in the club you must do it well. A Me and Bobby McGee girl. Sounds like you'd have drinkers looking anywhere hear you start and you'd see them turn and listen.

It’s a Blues crowd, was told they’re very loyal and now that I’ve been there for about 3 years, I believe it as I’ve come to know some of them as friends. It blows my mind that I can do one song over and over every week and they still appreciate it.

It shouldn't I guess, 1000 different people can have 1000 different reasons why a song means something to them.

Between the band and myself, we do change things up a bit but my signature song has become I’d Rather Go Blind and we do it every week.

Nice standard to choose.
I have to go and check out my elderly neighbour now, she's 93 and lives alone and I pop in once a week. I reckon it must be late there for you now so I'll leave you to nod off if it's time. Thanks for sharing.

Take care, have a great weekend
Love the blues. With a good voice many times its great to listen to many times after a hard week and home alone listening to a CD. Way to go as you’ve kept doing and making people happy. Im 62 m west coast Canada and in late 70’s and 80’s loved Sunday blues jams. Take care.

I'm supposed go be going to the grocery store for Christmas dinner fixins but it's -29° with the wind chill and I can't seem to find my courage.
I love the term "Christmas dinner fixins" we don't hear it described that way here in Australia but it says it all perfectly. I've seen the bitter cold and icy roads over there on the news and wish we could share a bit of our warm weather, it's 29 here also but that is 29°C which is 84°F. I wish you a little calm break in the weather to grab the "fixins" and merry Christmas.
