Sleep was very elusive. As a goth, Friday the 13th is usually a power day. I am hoping that it will be today, because of this fairly pivotal job interview. Trying to set a good intention for today. Still haven't found out what I am going to wear...hoping I don't end up having to walk in the rain.

Thinking about the asshole who thought it was okay to sneak up behind me as if he was gonna grab me - and thinking that is why every woman, and decent man, should learn some form of self defense
To ideally never need to use any technique - simply to have the confidence to be very fucking loud and clear, so a potential aggressor knows what comes next if he tries another step closer

And to add - I’ve heard it said, learn something so that you’re not the victim some asshole chooses
In reality - if you scare the shit out of that asshole enough, he’s likely gonna think more than twice before trying it on someone else too
(Edit - I know you know, but obviously don’t be reckless or invite shit; but if put in that situation, stay safe)
