Guys, if a woman posted about how she wants some kind of male companionship on here, over six months ago, and never replied or reacted to any of your responses, in fact hasn't posted a single thing since that very first post, why are you still replying now? I'm not saying that you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm saying that the tree was cut down and sold off as firewood at least six months ago.

You expect a horny newbie to check dates of posts and if that person has posted recently?

I contacted someone via pm just today and told him the post he was replying to was 9 yrs old and the person hasn't posted in 5 years.

We usually just call them out publicly so the mod can delete the post if it's an old thread.

I remember my mistakes as a newbie, and I still make the mistake of not checking the date of the post I am replying to occasionally.

I think lit should color the dates of really old posts to make it easier to avoid.
Say <= 6 month old post green,

6 to 12 month old post yellow.

Over 1yr red
