What are your favorite TV shows?

Mine are the Simpsons, Family Guy and the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox, Pimp My Ride on MTV/MTV 2, Wonder Showzen on MTV 2, and besides that, I don't watch a whole lot of television. I usually just turn it on at night when I go to sleep.

erika: doh--i must've misread, sorry! yeah, mac is kinda irritating, if you ask me. i watch futureweapons in spite of him. :>

o, and of course like bg, i'm a fan of almost all things food network. :D

I have to say that I'm addicted to: Boston Legal, Lost, Heroes, Skins and Nip/Tuck.
No point in telling the channels because us Aussies have different ones to you ;)

I probably watch way too much TV but my favorites are, Lost- great new season, Life- new show this year on NBC, great show, great character, Heroes-love it, House- always good, Boston Legal- just the goofiest show on TV, love it

Brothers & Sisters, Dancing with the Stars, Samantha Who?, Deadliest Catch, Survivor, Lost, Miami Ink, LA Ink, and The Young and the Restless.

Damn I watch a lot of tv! I also watch HGTV whenever there's nothing else on. I'm learning a lot about home improvement. I hope someday I'm able to use it.

I watch some HGTV too. But here's something I've learned: I always like many of the ideas, but I can never quite figure out how to implement them in my own home. I get lots of ideas, but it's almost too much and there's far too little detailed instruction most of the time. I'm always left with many more questions than answers at the end of the show, and afraid attempting things will end in disaster. Even when it comes to painting, I see colors and combinations I like, but I have a lot of trouble finding the same thing at the store.

Big fan of Heroes and 24. After those, Burn Notice, CSI, and Numbers. Enjoy watching when I can: NCIS, CSI:New York, CDI:Miami, House, and Stargate SG-1. Next teir down is Monk, Psych, Deal or No Deal, and Without A Trace.

Whew! What can I say? I guy's gotta have something on while he studies and writes papers.

When it was still on the air, Murphy Brown was my favorite show.

Love: Law and Order: SVU and the Amazing Race.

Otherwise, several reality shows are must see for me: Survivor, Top Chef, Project Runway and So you think you can dance.

I'll watch Dog Whisperer when it is on. I used to love to watch Animal Precinct, but I'd get so angry and sick to my stomach.

I was into Lost, but somehow missed several episodes near the end of the first season. So the series is on my Netflix queue and I'll eventually get caught up.

This is still being aired? When and what channel - tell, tell! I loved that show!

sorry to get your hopes up but it's not still being aired. It's just one of my all time favorites.

Don't know why they don't syndicate it.

Check out hulu dot com for a tv fix...

I'm such a LOST freak! Unfortunately, I have commitments Thursday nights and don't live in the US so I have to do a little bit of looking around the internet to keep up to date, but I am just far too addicted to that show not to.

Also completely obsessed with LOST! (FYI Anomily, last nights epi was well worth the 6 week wait....DAMN!!! Happy to help u out between US airings and yours:) )
Other favs that I DVR are Scrubs, The Office and lately that new show Samantha Who?

Check out Dexter

I don't have cable, or even any networks, but I got the DVD set of dexter for Christmas, and I love it. It's totally off the wall and pretty original. My guilty pleasure is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don't likeit as much as when I was a kid, but it'll still pick me up if I'm feeling blue.

i love ncis , numbers , prison break (god i love wentworth miller:heart:)

doctor who and when it was on torchwood

I watch relatively little television with any regularity, but these are shows that I'll stay for if I see that they're on:

Countdown with Keith Olbermann
Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives
Iron Chef
Golf Channel's coverage of major championships like The Masters or U. S. Open
Real Time with Bill Maher
Inside the Actor's Studio
New Yankee Workshop

Last summer I went through a phase of watching CSI every night in re-runs. Now I've seen virtually all of them so I don't linger when I see that it's playing. I have no idea when it's on in first run this season.

i like ... dirty jobs .... how it made ... stargate ... dr who ... the list goes on and on ... pretty much all of the shows on discovery and sci-fi ... and the food network

I found out the other day that CTV (the Canadian station that shows Lost) has full episodes on their site, which makes me very happy. And you're right, the most recent ep was amazing! Sucks that none of my friends watch it, I need someone to have crazy theories with!

Don't watch too much from sports othe than The Office...and I'm huge on 24 when it's on......
And I watch all Seinfeld reruns and DVD's...still funniest comedy on YV

HEROES, Law and Order dramas, Criminal Minds and Without a Trace.

Family Guy, Simpsons, House, Lost Scrubs. Thats about it....ohh and all the house shows, you know Flip This House, Trading Up that kind of thing.

I'm addicted to shows like Forensic Files, Investigators, Cops, Inside American Prisons etc. (Tru-tv, formally court tv.)

MSNBC has a series called Conviction, it's fascinating to me. It is about a small group program lead by mental health professionals who take these individuals thru a course to examine the possible how and why of their crimes. There's no easy pass, they face their pains, experiences, behaviors and thoughts that have brought them to prison. They are confronted head on with themselves. Some have even gone on to another level where they are confronted by their victims and families.

Basically I love any show about real human behavior.

I enjoy watching some sports - golf (the majors are a must), tennis (the grand slams a must too), anything Olympic (even curling, badminton etc.) and most of all the Boston Celtics. Friends and family know not to mess with me during games and now during the playoffs they shouldn't even look at me funny. ;)

I also love the Barefoot Contessa, Paula Deen, and wish one or both would adopt me.

I'll sort of watch the Law and Order shows, sometimes it's more like in the background while I do other things.

I've also been know to watch The Weather Channel. I'm a frustrated meteorologist and now have a new toy - interactive radar. It's so cool.

One of my very favorite shows was Barney Miller. I think it was one of the very best written shows ever and the cast was perfect.

^^Cate, I can watch marathons of those real crime shows on Court TV (I just cannot call it Tru-tv, stupid, stupid name!). The only ones I cannot watch are those that deal with Charles Manson (not so much his followers/"family" members) but him. I feel like the devil is right there to come through the tv at me.

I can also watch several hours in a row of Intervention, another show you brought to my radar.

TV on all the time

I like the noise even if I'm not watching but when I am actually watching (which is quite a bit I'll go for shows like:

NCIS, CSI (CBS)
Lost (ABC)
Monk, Psyche, Burn Notice (USA)
Pushing Daisies (ABC)
House
Scrubs (series finale this Thursday night)

And my future viewing plans include:

In Plain Sight (starts on USA in June - looks interesting)
Andromeda Strain 2 part movie on A&E this memorial day weekend

Family guy
Seinfeld
Law and order
Supernatural
Girls of the playboy mansion
Everyone loves Raymond
