A dear friend of mine, a paraplegic since 16, married for the first time last night at age 49 in a beautiful and heart-warming celebration.

To watch his angel of a bride reach to light the unity candle from her taper, then take her other hand to cover his and help him hold his taper in what could have been a disasterous moment as his hand slipped when he raised his taper (muscle distrophy over time has weakened his grip) at the same time was so touching.

Then watching them at the first 'dance' with him weaving around in his very agile wheelchair as he held her hand and she danced around quite seductively with eyes only for him, just warmed my heart. Their obvious devotion and love for each other absolutely and positively fed my soul.

WFMS is how much one life can impact so many others. I've been seeing it with an outpouring of praise and grief over Johnny Carson's death, but I've been thinking about it not just in the form of a celebrity but in those who help us every day just by their presence in our lives. We can't get along on our own - our lives are intertwined with so many others' lives for good or for bad but always for learning - and it's amazing how the smallest gesture can mean the biggest thing to someone.

May we all improve so our influence on others is getting better. And may we tell those whose lives have impacted us how much they mean to us every day.

After over a month of finessing an existing client, he's finally given us the go ahead to begin the recommended upgrades to his site. Granted its not a soul revealing relevation, but this past month has been extraordinary lean, with clients wracking up charges and asking to defer paying or delaying payments because there are more work coming up from them. This go ahead includes a nice deposit.

* Sharing..... sharing some painful thoughts with a friend, even though I knew it would be upsetting to hear, he was able to look beyond my fear (and his too) and to help me look for reasons why it was there, but most importantly to see ways for me to move forward again. That is one heck of a friend, I have gratitude beyond expression. Thank you. I feel that lightness that comes with sharing......

* The sun is out, which means it is NOT snowing and we may even break the freezing mark today and tomorrow...... for the first time in my life I have being feeling cabin fever and now that can be remedied too.
