these are gorgeous Red!
thanks for sharing them :rose:

Thanks Peggy:)
I know most of the people who come to this thread see this everyday during the winter, but I'm like a child when it snows!
I get excited esp. when its on a weekend & I don't have to go anywhere.
The downside to this storm...I don't get to see my grandchildren today:(

I really hate cold weather, unless its snowing...Some how Snow makes it all better!
Give me spring or fall in Virginia any day!:)

Fiesty, those are beautiful pictures, thanks for posting them. I love the kind of snowfall that turns the woods into a bright place - its as if the lights get turned on and you can see the depth.

Even with tons of snow on the ground here, seeing those pictures is wonderful. Sorry you won't see your grandchildren. The photos you posted of your newest little one are great!

Feisty,

Even though I moved away from the snow, these pictures made me very homesick. I remember how quiet it was after the snow blankets the woods. We lived in a farming community and our property bordered a river and a creek ran through it. Lots of woods. Your pictures brought back good memories that I had of snowfall.

I thank you for sharing them.

Getting to come home from work for lunch
and rummaging to find the "BEST" lunch ever!
at least to a 10 year old...lol

Fritos...the BBQ kind, Peanut M & M's and an ice cold Dr. Pepper in the can.
Don't tell anyone but I just blew my diet:rolleyes:
Oh well...Tomorrow is a new day;)

I've been saving them up again...

Anonymous support from a not-so-anonymous source.

Friends, new and old and a mix of the two.

Starting every day with the same three words.

Pajama day.

Finally hearing some words of praise and appreciation after spending weeks working like a dog. I didn't need them but it was nice to hear them.

Starting to feel rested after being worn out since before Christmas.

De-lurking!

I've been lurking here since--well--longer than I'd care to admit. This is an amazing thread. It never fails to bring a smile to my face (and occasionally tears to my eyes). Thanks to all of you!

WFMS today. . .

Getting a note from my first grader's teacher that said she wished she had 100 students like my daughter. I'm so proud of my little gal, and I feel like I'm not a total flop as a parent!

Going out to dinner with my husband last night (it was our anniversary) and talking about something OTHER than diapers, babies, and Nickelodeon.

The (yawn) promise of an afternoon nap.

Hearing my son laugh, and knowing that he is the best thing that I have ever done

The minute when my husband walks in the front door after work

Cuddling on the couch with my neglected pug who has had a hard time between the new baby and the new diet

Inside jokes.

Having my little sisters call me to help them, and being able to do something.

Notes from my grandfather

Dinner

Turning off the TV

Giving the guy on the corner the money that I have on me, regardless if he "really" needs it or not.

Knowing that I have enough

Knowing that I give enough

Knowing that I try to not take to much

Seeing old friends in a new way.

Getting into a truly satisfying morning routine. For the first time in years my mornings make sense now. I like that.

Chocolate covered strawberries.

Finding concrete solutions to a vexing problem.

Having some valuable help on that vexing problem.

Eilan, welcome out of 'lurkdom' and to the WFMS thread.

WFMS......

* Feeling more authentic and strong, getting my sea legs so to speak.

* Making a connection, being proud of a life saving accomplishment.

* Feeling love.

:rose:

The amazing relationship I have with my husband
My relationship with my family – love them to bits too...
Books
Music

  My Possy:heart:

Being absolutely scared shitless and scaring you.
Yet you held me talked to me, said the perfect words.
I cannot conceive of my life without you.

Ok I'm gonna get shameless here and toot my own horn, but hey, its a goooood feeling to toot your horn once in a while.

Last week my webhost decided our server needed to be retired. So they relocated us to a new box and in the process wrecked some 11 years of custom programmed software. Due to time constraints and another job I wasn't able to get to our software until today.

Now I haven't gotten everything working again, but I did manage to get our main program online for our subscriber base. Only 3 lines of code needed to be changed across 5 code modules. Out of nearly 18,000 lines of code. Only 3 needed changing.

Damn I'm good :p

Good for you, Bobmi. There's a not a whole lot that's more satisfying than knowing you did it right and did it well.
