WFMS...

Music... I can be in the worst worst WORST mood ever, and a thought'll just bubble into my head and I'll know exactly what I need to be listening to so I can snap out of it. (although it just plain suckssuckssuckssuckssucks if I don't have 'it' at hand). Not much that Sonny Rollins 'The Bridge', Barber's 'Adagio for Strings' or White Zombie's 'More Human Than Human' won't cure.

Geek toys... I spent an entire week in Japan doing nothing more than poring over stores and stalls in Akihabara. I woke up at sunrise, went back to the hotel way after sunset dripping with sweat and cringing from blisters from climbing up and down stairs, and roasting in the Edo summer. A shower and a Kirin afterwards made it allll better.

Smiles, hugs, making people laugh... my wife smiling at me in the morning, her putting her cold feet on me in bed at night and kicking me until I give her footrubs... holding a baby and having it fall asleep in my arms, one of our 5 cats curling up next to me and purring... I could go on for days.

WFMS...

* Music! Finally having and wanting music back in my home. Sometime last year my system had a fight with lightning I guess that resulted in an ugly hiss. At the time my mood was varing colors of blue and music took a hit.

Tonight I purchased a system. I just set it up and like letting out a long held breath of ick I took a long breath in of music. There is a button for ''sound turbo'' and of course I hit that bugger right away. About the same time my downstairs neighbor (very odd, way too long a story but he's the one that drove his truck onto my car a year ago) started making major banging sounds, and sounds like he was doing contruction. I had called my upstairs neighbor to make sure the music wasn't too loud and she said nope, couldn't hear it. Well, after another half hour of odd sounds from down-under I opened my door as he was slamming his over and over... "Are you ok down there?" I asked. Well, it was that sound turbo that had him nutty. I guess a walk up a flight of stairs and knocking was too much for him. Good thing I'm not parked next to him tonight.

MUSIC!!! I can feel some stress running away - yippy.

* Friends -- an especially crazy, nutty, batty friend comes to mind but friends are good.

I'm thinking that particular friend is looking at her phone waiting for the shit to fly. One ringy-dingy...two ringy-dingy... :catroar:

Google Limp Mass Material. You'll be ever so glad you did.

Getting an email full of pictures with my niece and nephew cute smiling faces. They live in different state so I don't see them very often.

WFMS is a glimmer of hope that I might get to spend time with a very dear friend this spring.

She's the kind of friend that we don't dare talk about what it would be like if we lived in the same city, because it just makes us both too sad that we're thousands of miles away from each other.

Today will feed my soul since it will be the first day in approximately two months that I will have absolutely nothing to do. I am at leisure.

It will feed my soul to cook a couple of casseroles, one is a gift to his son for giving me his Saturday morning to help me move before he had to go to his paying job. He's a good young man, a mirror image of his beautiful father (who I love with all my

WFMS is feeling his love for me, knowing in my head and in my heart that I am so loved by this incredible man is sometimes overwhelming.

I'm truly sorry that you worried about me (yet I'm touched).

I thought I had posted that I wouldn't be around for a couple of weeks as I was going to be wrapped up in my move. Now I'm finally, somewhat, settled in and have a weekend completely to myself.

Pouring rain feeds my soul.

WFMS: A hug and a kiss from a gorgeous young man and him telling me he loves me and I know he means it.

*I have a wonderful nephew!*
