What is your favourite song from the 70's?

Way too many to choose from, but I’ll give a little shout-out to glam rock.

Ballroom Blitz ~ Sweet
All the Young Dudes ~ Mott the Hoople
20th Century Boy ~ T Rex
Snake Bite ~ The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Anything by the New York Dolls

This is some good shit. I’m gonna add some other glam-ish early working class rock n roll before there was punk. Some good shit on this Link.

Dream Weaver - preferably with a smoke machine and/or low lighting. Ahh, the 70s - takes me back.

If I was up for disco, it was Boogie Nights by Heatwave.

Ladies rock - Magic Man by Heart.

Any song from either Leftoverture and Point of Know Return by Kansas.

WOW, GREAT QUESTION!! So hard to pick a song or artist from that time period, really depends on your mood. :
BOWIE
ALMAN BROTHERS
TRAFFIC
CCR
ETC, ETC,
My youngest daughter also said we had the best music. I think she's right

Dang - there's a lot of good ones. But off the top of my head I'll go with Superstition by Stevie Wonder.

So many to choose from, but if I’m going with songs not yet chosen
Jive Talkin’ by the Bee Gees
I will survive Gloria Gaynor

and for the cheesy supremacy
Escape, the Pina Colada song

"Parchment Farm"
by
Blue Cheer

"Time Has Come"
by
Chambers Brothers

"Gonna Miss Me"
by
13th Floor Elevators

"My Condition"
by
Kenny Rogers

Yes, it is a great song. It was originally released by John Prine in 1971 and Bonnie Raitt recorded it in 1974. :)
