ETA: Actually, I worked on a show that Betty White was in, several years back. I didn't have the chance to meet her (she wasn't in any of my scenes) but those I spoke with who did work with her said she was an absolute sweetheart and she was very, very funny. So, she has a good mark in my book.

Although, I figured out why. He looks like a guy in high school who used to pick on me.

I feel this way about Adam Sandler, but I know why. He's just a talentless oboxious blight on my video screen. I really don't view the ability to behave like an out of control 5 year old when you're well into adulthood as something to be admired.

See, now I'm imagining the reverse scenario, in which the bedroom is in control of you. That's some fucking horror movie shit right there, if taken completely seriously (which is clearly what I'm doing here ) and if not... "These curtains should never go with this color-scheme! Change them, human! Change them and gaze upon your shattered life, for I am... the bedroom!"

Which just goes to show how much free time I have on my hands. In legitimate news, that is to say, my smile for the day: I actually made some strides towards beating my water phobia that have made me very happy, in retrospect. I'll probably post more about it in the pissed off thread, because when it was happening it was entirely unpleasant, but the feeling of victory from having done it is pretty awesome

Well, there is that. To be honest, though, there are a couple of movies he's put out that I enjoyed - 50 first dates and grownups to be exact. The thing is that even when I enjoy the movie I have to struggle with an uncontrollable dislike of him.

My smile started as a frown. I was out running, mad at myself that I have only been sporadically running since August. I'm down from 52 minutes straight running to 30 minutes running, with a couple of 30 second walks interspersed. I was lecturing myself when a guy on a bike rode by. He had an artificial leg and I realized I'm actually blessed to be where I am.

I also smiled 'cause he had a really cute ass and beautiful cyclist's thighs. Still, it reminded me that even though bad stuff has happened over the last few years, I haven't had it as bad as others.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the second interview this week. I have a third meeting with the owners of the company on Monday to discuss "final details," which I sort of think means salary and schedule...but I'm trying not to count my chickens before they hatch. I'll keep everyone posted.

ETA: I also just had the most amazing tasting apple...which the boyfriend picked out. Gotta love a man that knows his produce.

Well, there is that. To be honest, though, there are a couple of movies he's put out that I enjoyed - 50 first dates and grownups to be exact. The thing is that even when I enjoy the movie I have to struggle with an uncontrollable dislike of him.

I don't really care that much for him, but like you said, he does have some good movies. One I liked was "Spanglish" which has some strange parts to it...all of those had him in the scene, if that tells you anything.

There was also another one where he has this remote control thing that allows him to alter time and events. Again, there were some good parts in the movie, but also some weird parts, and all of them had him in the scene.

Now, both of the above movies had hot women in them, so I could be basing my praise for them because of Kate Beckinsale in "Spanglish" and Paz Vega in "Click".

I haven't seen "50 First Dates" or "Grownups" but would probably like both because I like Drew Barrymore and Salma Hayek. Do you see a trend? Maybe I'm just a horny single guy at heart so I don't mind suffering through strange movies, if they allow me to see the luscious ladies. Another trend with the exception of Barrymore, these ladies have accents. I LOVE accents!
