One of my faster Saturday crossword solves and museum plans for the day.

I entered "banana" in my search engine looking for calorie and carb count. What pops up first?I

Whites Shoes and Bananas

When I crawled out of bed to turn the coffee pot on, I looked at my dog dog 🐶 to see if he wanted to come with me. He gave me a look like ‘no thanks, go for it, I’m good right here’.

I ran across someone recommending a sketch by Bert Kreischer last week, so I saw that and about died. Tonight, as a present to myself after finishing an insane amount of work I looked up the whole set. I'm laughing harder than I've done in a solid year.

The last time I laughed THIS much my soon to be exhusband lived with me and was giving me dirty looks because I had the audacity to be laughing out loud. So not only am I smiling and laughing about the comedy, I'm also smiling that I will NEVER EVER have to be with that ridiculousness again.

Also smiling that the first thing my Daddy said to me this morning was to ask me to explain something he'd seen about my work... and after I did he absolutely straight faced told me I'm amazing, and how proud he is of me. It is things like that that just absolutely melt my heart and make me so glad that he is real.

Crossword stuff, feeling appreciated, getting confirmation that I avoided making a pretty hefty mistake a few years ago.

The library. It's so awesome, I love going.

Library visits are the best when I have a lot of time to browse and just walk leisurely between the shelves and see what I can find. But it's equally nice to swing by for a quick 1 min visit to the lobby popular books' shelf when you have just a moment before your bus arrives, randomly grab a book from the shelf and check it out using the app on the bus.

It's all good.

Libraries are the best.

I enthusiastically agree.

I wish I could find a cologne that smelled like the stacks. Mmmmmmm.

I saw someone I use to know at the gym. They kept looking at me and I ignored their existence. When I cut someone it is final, complete and without exception. They are dead to me.

I'm still struggling to understand the whole white shoes and bananas thing. Some things are just not meant to be...

I wish I could find a cologne that smells like receiving a mountaintop blowjob at sunset while drinking a cold California craft pale ale with hints of citrus and pine.

Oh man, this would have been so easy if you hadn't added that bit about hints of citrus and pine. Sigh.
