The rough play I just took... how my legs are still trembling and how I know I will feel it tomorrow. But all of the tension is gone from my body otherwise and I feel so at one.
 
I have to think. It's harder right now. Probably the YT video of a guy I follow who posts short videos of his toddler every day. Toddler doesn't seem to be a morning person. :)

Morning persons are strange.

I emphatically empathise with the lady in the clip and like someone wrote in the comments, he is having such fun. *grumbles*

My friends keep encouraging me to be petty. Oh I could drop kick them in the wallet and balls. I am not going to sink to their level though. Let the rats all crawl in the sewers together. I’m going to get my coffee. ☕️
 
Talking to my 9 year old granddaughter and her telling me that mac and cheese with hot dogs is better with ketchup mixed in. Mmmm, yummy

I miss Gloomhaven. We got through three sessions, then one of our group had a baby, then pandemic happened, and now it's sitting on the shelf looking at us accusingly.

Me: had a reassuring conversation with a co-worker. It's been a busy time and I feel like I haven't been pulling my weight, but he told me it's more that in hindsight they weren't realistic about how much they could expect a new person to pick up, and that I've been helping in other areas which they hadn't expected, so on balance it's all good.

It was actually GH: Jaws of the Lion character. We’re almost done with it and after that we’ll start with the original Gloomhaven.

It’s been so much fun to play (even if I have zero interest in the story… not my cup of tea) and I’m really looking forward to starting the next game. We still have two sessions left of Jaws of the Lion, but we’ll have to take a break from playing now because of vacations and such.

It’s going to be bitter sweet to say goodbye to my current character, or all the characters were playing with now, though. I made them Santa hats and a Christmas tree for the the pre Christmas session, too.
