My log splitter crapped out last weekend a few hours after I added Hydraulic fluid. Figured the fluid was bad.

So drained the reservoir and swapped out the fluid, added 10 gallons of new fluid and changed the filter.

Ran like a fucking charm all afternoon. Love it when fixing things actually works and doesn’t make things worse.

Took the dog for a walk on a route we don't usually take. An old lady pulled out of her driveway, stopped in the middle of the street to say hello to the dog and wish me a happy Thanksgiving. Unusual, because I've never seen her before, and strangers don't usually chat up a 90 pound pittie.

I wouldn't do that in my truck, but I'd certainly say hi to a big pit bull on a walk.
