What Made You Smile Today, v6

All of you. The way you're kind to and supportive of each other, how you reach out to others to comfort them when they're in pain, how nobody judges each other, the jokes you share... it's all beautiful to me. I wish the outside world was more like this.

We can be that way. But don't worry - there's plenty of drama too. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. (although the sunshine and rainbows are lovely).

Finally catching the mouse. :cattail:

- no more waking up at night, silly sweet little mouse 🤍

You make me smile every day ❤️

Aww, this made me smile! Enjoy spending time with your smart daughter 😍

Thank you. I am one of those insufferably proud gushy parents.

She’s severely dyslexic and her Ed Psych told her that he wouldn’t have recommended anyone with her level of dyslexia study classics at uni but her. She’s smashing it currently, on for a 1st.

Nothing insufferable about being proud. If that’s the case, I am insufferable too!

Your daughter sounds like a very intelligent and focused and ambitious young lady who is proving the experts wrong. You have raised her well.

Dyslexia has nothing to do with intelligence. Some of the cleverest people out there are dyslexic. My niece has Asperger’s syndrome and is super smart.

Enjoy your weekend 🌻

100% not related. She was the only student in her school to be both in the gifted & talented stream and the special educational needs group.

In a way she’s proving the experts right because they helped her find the right strategies to overcome her debilitating dyslexia and express her understanding and her ideas.

❤️ I love hearing the success stories. The progress made to help those with special educational needs has been phenomenal in the more recent past. May your daughter always enjoy learning (just like me!)

Seeing mom today for the first time since her surgery. She looks good, and is doing well. I'm very relieved.

Thank you Ana.:rose: First time I went out since the Cancer shit. It was nice to feel human again.

That is so great to hear. Make it a regular occurrence now please. Go out and live, have fun and enjoy being with nice people again. Life has been on hold for too darn long and you deserve the best of everything after what you have been through ♥️

Thank you. You are a sweetheart. I'm tired of feeling broken. So I truly needed it. :rose::rose:
