So, I was originally going to be like "I don't actually know the title of this song; I just know it plays on the MLB Mix station when there are no games playing" and then share some lyrics, but I decided instead to actually look up what lyrics I knew and get the information for the song, which is good, because I was wrong about the lyrics.

I always heard it as "I was getting kind of used to being so unloved," which made it sound even sadder than it actually is. However, as you can see below, that is not what he's saying. This is a bit like when I used to think the song was "Secret Asian Man" instead of "Secret Agent Man."
