Whats everyone doing today?

I'm frustrated.........no, not sexually. I've got a great story; novel actually that's giving me the blues. Too many side plots in it and I can't decide on what to take out and what to keep.

This is where you need your editor.

I wonder if you couldn't take a side plot out, leave a hint of an action though, and develop the side plot into another novel.

Thanks Denae I've thought of that and did take out one. I want to have enough done well so that when I get an editor I won't have to spend months making changes. My problem is that I have more ideas than one book can manage unless I write books of 900,000 words or more.

The book is close to being complete. In fact, I have the end completed. I think what I'll do is to weave the sub-plots that I want to keep into the main plot more.
I could put it aside and start all over and I've considered doing that.

I have housekeeping stuff to do around here and then I may pick my way through a few songs on the piano.

Hub'll be home this evening. I'm so looking forward to that.

Knowing you, it will be done better than well and the editors are going to love you for that. I can't wait to see the product.

What am I doing today?

Coffee and the Sunday paper.
Laundry
Hang a picture
Remove the wrappings from the leather handles on my new work tote bag.
Open the last two days' worth of mail.
Lounge on the couch with my two furballs.

I can tell you what my contributions to that thread will be: feed the cats and going to bed.

i understand... we simply MUST take care of the pussy before bed.

I should be getting in the shower. My husband and I are leaving at 2:00 to attend a wedding that's about 90 minutes from here.

LOL--I soooooo did not see that one coming.
hey. i'm the first one to admit that a pussy needs to be pampered.

of course, this takes on a whole new meaning when there are geriatric incontinence problems.

and what could possibly be better than a fully functional, youthful pussy? what, i ask you? nothing, i dare say.

Here's what's better: one that's low mileage due to years of non-use, would feel like a glove sliding tightly over one's hand.

if it's going over one's hand, i'd hope like hell it's tightly... in fact, i'd hope there'd be crow bars and industrial strength grease involved.

yes, blue with a slight tint of green. kind of like the color of ocean water at some carribean resort. very pleasant on the eyes

Thanks...sounds wonderfully calm for a bedroom. I'm sure it looks beautiful.

oh and what I did today was attend the Pride Parade. So much fun. :nana:

Just arrived home (for the 2nd time) from work, 4 1/2 hrs of driving in the fog at night makes for one tired little quoll.
Going to have to go and have a sleep soon...in a bit...a little later maybe.

Ok swap masonry with Missionary and this takes on a whole new meaning.

This has been a Public Service Announcement by Nightbird Inc. If it had been an actual emergency more information would have followed the annoying ear piercing sound. Please go about your daily Lit lives now.

I decided it probably wasn't gonna rain today, since the forecast called for rain (I wasn't gonna fall for that one 2 days in a row). turned out to be a good decision because I got some work done on my masonry project that is WAY behind schedule.
