Going into town to catch up with my brother and some of his kids, then home, sleep, work, sleep,( either at home or in the back of the van) work, home, sleep (play on lit ;) ), fall asleep in the chair.

hair color/cut, balancing check register to bank statement, preparing bills for mailing, and doing some shredding. Then I'll be starting on my closets & packing.

I'm utterly bored. I have baked, watched movies, cleaned, done laundry, and rearranged furniture. I have a week and a half left of vacation...

Come on over to my place and we can get my place in shape and throw in some girl chat at the same time. ;)

That sounds like fun!

We could paint each other's toenails too :D

Well that's my post whoring done, time to head out the door.
Have a great day kids. :)

Going through a storage bin of old school memorabilia. My mom couldn't believe I was throwing away my sports trophies...I couldn't convince her that there was no need to save them.

The gem find of the day was a diary entry when I was a freshman in high school. My mom is not a drinker; she never has been a drinker. She's also ultra-conservative. One evening (after several weeks) she was pissed at my step-dad because he'd come home from work, sit out on the porch having a few drinks with the neighbor, leaving her to take care of everything. She decided to be one of the "boys" and match them drink for drink. Lightweight that she is, she was knocked out--or in my words at the time "seriously stoned." Then I wrote what she was sobbing to the neighbor's wife. "I don't want to be a grown up anymore; I want to go and be a hippie."

I laughed my ass off as my mother couldn't be a hippie if she tried. I called to tell her about this diary entry and we shared a good laugh together.

(love you mom) :D

That is cool Den! I have a room full of trophies too. I'm trying to figure out what the heck to do with them... One thought was to remove the little placards on the front and make several large plaques with all of them, so I would still have my memories yet not clutter up a whole room. Of course, I have yet to do it!

Today I cleaned, shopped - started some Christmas shopping for '07 (awesome sales, I tell ya!) cooked a nice steak, watched Robin Williams again, and took a nap. I'm almost out of things to do.
