[snarls weakly]

See...I'm too tired to muster a good snarl.

How the hell does someone *cough*myhusband*cough* not understand that the fucking coffee goes on the same shelf that it has gone on for the past 3 years.

btw, i dig the new av.

[peers carefully]

that's a lovely shot, great lighting and i love the use of the sheets/fabric.

it's a funny thing: on a hunch, i checked the profile b/c i have all avs and sigs turned off and i just noticed it when i posted.

Hmmm...yeah, it's an interesting shot. The avatar doesn't do the shot justice.

[smirks]

today i'm sodomizing directv before they sodomize me again.

stupid fuckers. i'm so tired of having to ask TWICE before something gets done correctly.

(btw... just assume i've cross posted this in WPMO... i don't have the energy to actually do it)

Contemplating lunch and staring in the refrigerator finding nothing appealing.

that's always distressing...i sometimes liken that sensation to the fear of the blank page.

I can't say that I can compare the sensations. I'm a freak. I don't get writer's block.

Then you aren't digging deeply enough. Become Kurtz, my friend. Pass the bottle.

As I mentioned in the Blurt thread, I bathed all four kids at once. I usually try to stagger the baths, but I was feeling ambitious.

Later, I'll take my oldest kids to the last session of their summer reading program. My 6-year-old will finally earn enough points to get a summer reading t-shirt. She's had to read more than twice as many books to get half as many points as my eight-year-old.

The school district uses a program called Accelerated Reader. The kids pick a book from an extensive list and once they finish it, they take a test. The number of points they receive is based on the book level and the number of questions they answer correctly.

The lower-level books are worth fewer points. Most of the books that my six-year-old reads are 1/2 point books. Sometimes I'll read a 1-point book to her, or we'll take turns reading pages. If she read only 1/2 point books, she'd need to read at least 60 of them (30 points) to get a t-shirt.

The books that my eight-year-old reads are worth at least four or five points.

Clearly it's time to lay off encouraging your eight-year old to read Jane Austen. ;)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is worth 12 points. I don't see Austen on the List, though. ;)

today i worked. then i ate. then i went home. now i sit in front of the computer, with cold feet, and i ate some more and called my grandparents, and the day is lamost over. exciting, isn't it?

Today I packed all my stuff, for tomorrow I'll move into my new apartment.

... my first very own, only for me and myself, apartment.

Three times moving in less than two years, but then it's finally over... :D

a big blue plus sign?

Well, it's a relatively small blue plus sign actually if you compare it to the size of a stop sign.

But it is indeed a +. Plain as day.
