I wish more folks could see it this way. I was in a relationship with a young woman many years ago that had some medical issues that had her on painkillers occassionally. For whatever reason, the only time she wanted sex was when she was hopped up on the painkillers. I refused every time, as I wanted her to be fully aware and straight before she gave consent for any such activity. We wound up never actually having sex, which helped to accelerate the ending of this particular relationship, but damned if I did not keep to my own rules, and own my own self-respect.

Consent alone is insufficent for me. I need informed consent, and that is impossible if someone is drunk or high. (and that doesn't even touch on play when someone is drunk, and their responses are off)

What if the pyl consents (when they are not sick, not drunk, in a completely stable state of mind) by saying something like "i think it is really hot to think about You taking advantage of me when i am sick, tipsy, etc.". Is that informed consent for you?

The worst one was the last time be visited.
