Yank's Free Range Turkey Trot Warming House and Bondage Barn

AKA pickle pincher, pickle grabber. As opposed to a pickle fork, which breaks the skin of delicate pickles. LOL

Here's a pic

The funny thing (tool geek alert) is that a larger version of this is used when making marbles and other large blown glass objects. Then we call them 'hot fingers' but the idea is the same.

Thank you for the link. I actually have such a thing, but it's probably a good bit larger. The one I have is for retrieving small automotive parts (think nuts, bolts) that have fallen into a hard-to-reach place. It's about two feet long and I'm quite grateful for the suggestion. It won't take up much room in my traveling toy bag at all.

The ones I've seen workmen here with are also magnetic.

I'm not sure I like where any of this would be going. But I'd be prepared to find out once I guess.

In my barn, this weekend we are moving old stock fodder this weekend. I think we have three different colours of baler twine. Not sure how I feel about rats though

They are not very fun to deal with, those rodents.

I also have a magnetic pickup tool but Emerson40 posted a picture that is exactly the tool I was describing. It has a very handy expanding grabber, as you can see.

So its not just me? Oh thank goodness. I thought I might get kicked out of the barn.

Nope, no getting kicked out for your kinks (or lack thereof). As a matter of fact, scoot over. :p This thing does nothing for me, either!!

But it does bring something to mind for the barn in general. I wonder if anyone here is attracted by the medical aspect of BDSM?? Speculums and stirrups and whatnot? This has never appealed to me, and I have just always wondered what the draw is? Being under someone else's control? The simple physical aspect of being spread wide open? Something else entirely? I just don't get it, personally.

Since I sort of started the "claw" thing, I just want to mention that the "pickle grabber" version has very fine round wires. It will grab onto, say, a nipple or clit, but it's more of a pressure thing than stabby. I suppose the larger version could be useful, but if it were me using it, I'd want to dip the ends in a protective coating (Tool Magic, friend of jewelers everywhere).

Medical play has never been a draw for me, probably because it has always seemed to be too much like being at work. (I did 'back office' medical assisting for 15 years.) That said, speculum play is somewhat intriguing. :D

I completely understand the physical therapy thing. There's a special sort of mental/physical satisfaction to pushing a limitation and getting a little "ouch" that proves you're making progress. I've always enjoyed the e-stim part, and often puzzled the techs because I like it turned up higher than most people, apparently. ;)

Nope. Medical play not only does nothing for me, but I'd say it's rather a turn off. All that completely non-erotic pointy, pokey, proddy stuff. *shudder*

Physical therapy pain is a nope, too. :(

I'm a BABY masochist. :D

That does not look body part friendly. No way, no how! :p

The close-up picture makes it look far more threatening than it really is. In fact, the claw part is barely a half inch across. I'm tempted by the idea of modifying my claw with Tool Release, but then I'd have to dedicate it to play use and owning two copies of a useful but rarely-used tool seems wasteful to me.

Your play partners will prefer the two copy tool option. Wasteful or not!

Just saying. :p
