Fairy like smile retreats
as her world shifts
in melting glaciers,
slipping the core
of playful things
plucking
upon blooms
drying in the desert.

A mermaid releases
her salty spray
as the sun smiles
awakening a desert rose.

The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken.
Although its light is wide and great,
The moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide.
The whole moon and the entire sky
Are reflected in one dewdrop on the grass.

Du ~ I wanted to comment on the nice use of inclusiveness in a universal sense here. Something as vast as the moon and sky is somehow reflected proportionately in an insigificantly small puddle.

...sort of everything can fit in a thought small enough to fit in our vision.
