You can use a diffing program like this one to visualize the changes you’ve made. It’d be most useful if you had the original version of the earlier draft, but even just comparing to what you consider current but unedited version should make it easier to transplant the edits.I'm hard at work on editing my geek pride story and I just made the most annoying mistake. I'd gone in to look at something in an earlier draft, inadvertently stayed in that draft, and continued editing.
What might really get us is a solar flare or an EMP attack that fries everything electric and electronic. The weird thing is that a solar storm would only affect the part of the world facing the sun - in daylight, in other words - but it would still be quite a mess. One notable one was the so-called Carrington Event of 1859 that took down much of the American telegraph system, about the only thing that depended on electricity then. (Maybe those Steampunk people are on to something.)With a title like that, I must insist on the untimely appearance of a giant meteor.
Welcome! A word of warning: if you're writing YA, be very aware of the zero-tolerance policy on underage sex. As per the Content Guidelines:Hey all,
Sorta trying to find my feet here, have a few ongoing projects. Some I'll post here and others on the fence on where to put them. Various stages of writing of each one. Some near publishing, some about half way through draft 1. Some of these are YA others far from it.
I have one ongoing project I'm posting up here, but I have a number of others at various stages. Hoping to have my first novel out within the next two months although its probably a little tame for this site.
To that end, we DO NOT publish works of any type featuring the following content:
- Sexual activity involving characters under the age of 18 (including but not limited to explicit sexual discussion, voyeurism, exhibitionism, fantasizing, masturbation, and graphic sexualized descriptions, in addition to actual sexual intercourse). Literotica has always had a strict policy against any under-18 content, and any attempt to violate that policy is grounds for account termination.
Have you ever seen the 1975 film A Boy and His Dog? Post-apocalyptic, and gets my vote as one the most "feel-bad" movies ever. And, yes, semen plays a big part in the plot. Just looked again, and it's set in 2024. Things are not that bad yet.Logan's Cum?
I have specifically avoided it for years.Have you ever seen the 1975 film A Boy and His Dog? Post-apocalyptic, and gets my vote as one the most "feel-bad" movies ever. And, yes, semen plays a big part in the plot. Just looked again, and it's set in 2024. Things are not that bad yet.

Thanks for the heads up.Welcome! A word of warning: if you're writing YA, be very aware of the zero-tolerance policy on underage sex. As per the Content Guidelines:
If your characters are over the age of 18, or if your writing non-erotic content, you should be fine.
Have fun, and I hope you enjoy the Lit experience!
When it comes to taxes, it's all just one sex scene, because someone is definitely getting fucked.Currently writing an R&D tax credit document. Haven't got to the sex scene yet
If one woman can upset the balance of the cosmos, then this very site should've destroyed the universe a million times over.So I've come up with this idea: a woman with a new sex toy has been playing with herself so much that the orgasmic balance has been upset.
Shut up before you make me overthink my idea!If one woman can upset the balance of the cosmos, then this very site should've destroyed the universe a million times over.
Ha! Started early in January and that put off other things, but it is done. I wish I could find a beta reader for it. I believe it touches all the Spillanish points: sex, violence, death, mayhem, even an alcoholic detective wife-beater.Busy not writing my Mickey Spillane thing, which was meant to be for the second year's anthology. Annoying, but there might still be time...
I read through the first 5k words last night. I might get there, if i don't get distracted. You got time BTW. It's not due until July!
