Yes, proper manners are a part of it, but it’s more than that. Like minx, it’s something that, as far as I can recall, I have heard only Brits say. I love it because it says to me that you are aware of and attentive to my needs and commitments. At the same time, especially with your accent, it makes me feel a bit “little”, like a naughty kitten that, albeit gently, you are shooing away and back on task. :cattail:

That works when the recipient is a Brit, too. It all comes down to the dynamics of your relationship IMO, but it’s goooood.
