When he calls me a minx. I have seen a couple of British men on Lit use the term. Never a Yank as far as I know.
 
The bickering over proper words for things. Biscuit vs. cookie, brook vs. creek, football vs. soccer. They are so easily riled at times. When they do get all heated up, the accent becomes heavier and heavier and I can't help but giggle.

Possibly this is a perfectly common everyday phrase that should garner no particular attention. But to my American ear, it sounds very much like Hugh Grant saying 'whoopsy daisies' in Notting Hill.
