I hate a few of their songs but what I love, I return to over and over again. And I've followed their solo careers, which haven't been bad. In fact, Kim Gordon has been astonishing. Love her endless experimentation in pop and art.

I had/have such a rockstar crush on Kim Gordon.

First of all, happy Mother’s Day to you, Moms! And if your not a mom, then Happy Mother’s Day to your moms! I lost my mom this year and I am thinking Of how unselfish she was. Great lady.

Mellow music doesn’t make me soulful, but real soul music does. Maybe it’s funk? Orchestral music?

Great song too!!

She was so sexy on stage. From the start, from I Dreamed I Dream back in 82, she brought the erotic, gender politics and style to the band. Feminist and fun. Pop culture and high art.

If you haven't read it, I recommend Girl in a Band it's a great autobiography. Without her they'd have been Black Flag, Fugazi, Big Black, Dinosaur Jr. Jesus Lizard good. But she's that bridge between Ut, Lydia Lunch and the riot grrrls.
