Day 24: A 90s song with a colour in the title/lyrics - 1993

*Please note: I continue to never post a Bowie song until Cjbdd has posted her song for the day.
(I love how this song grows on me every single time i hear it!)

"Morning star, you're beautiful
Yellow dime on high
Spinnin' around my little room
Miracle goodnight"

Day 24: A 90s song with a color in the title or lyrics

I can wake up in the morning
And not believe what I see
Look in the mirror
And think if that's really me
I don't think I suit my face
It's not a catastrophe
It's more a philosophy
Like the Russians wondering why
We're born under a blue sky
But die in a dark forest

Day 24: A 90s song with a color in the title or lyrics (green)
I always liked NAD. I like nearly every band from Wolverhampton. (Wolves fan), so it brings me joy to actually use this song.

But she can’t go wrong with two bass players. +1 for green, +1 for power pop?? It’s my own challenge this decades week…

Day 24: A song from the 90s with color in the title or lyrics.

I remember watching this live years ago, and after what had happened with Kurt a few months after Nirvana recorded their Unplugged session, thinking that there was no way Layne Staley was going to make his next birthday. And he made it a few more, but he was sadly, so clearly not himself in this performance of a Cantrell gem from early in their career. But it's still so haunting performed live.

Roses in a vase of white
Bloodied by the thorns beside the leaves
That fall because my hand is pulling them hard as I can

You were always so far away
I know that pain
And I won't run away like I used to do

Pictures in a box at home
Yellowing and green with mold
So I can barely see your face
Wonder how that color taste
