I no longer assume people are busy or pre-occupied during the day. The normal schedule of when people may actually be up to naughty bits is out the window.

That conversational foreplay can be very...effective. I remember vividly having a chat while shopping for a baby shower gift that resulted in me having to rush home and... handle "things".

Thank you for clarifying what you meant about Covid. I can see where one might find that hypothetical response a bit harsh. By finding humor and a hint of truth in that post, by no means was I advocating lying to a partner. Sometimes a conversation takes a turn when you are not expecting it and you find yourself writing what you wish you were doing. But I donā€™t get annoyed with my partner for assuming that I am somewhere private.
 
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who has checked in! Hurricane Sally was a real cunt but I'm safe and just had minimal property damage and we have power back. Thank God because hurricane hair is a real infliction. There are many people not nearly as lucky though so keep us in your thoughts.

Glad to read you've weathered the storm in...somewhat good form... as well as not losing your household PLP.:)

We sometimes see some of the effects of tropical storms here but for us, the bad stuff is tornados, ice storms, or straight-line winds. Severe weather is Mother Natures way of reminding us that our plans are more afterthoughts in the realm of things. ;)
