Well, I am definitely no hero... But even us perpetual non-heroes does need some yummy meals to fill our stomachs.
- This was my quick lunch today.
Being back in the city, besides being surrounded by buildings and people.. (give me time, soon I am going to relax and enjoy it.. again.. ) it also means, there are a ton of appointments, meetings.. things to do.. that I.. well.. kinda.. conveniently postponed.. Until after the vacation.
- Yeah.. that is now..
My meals, I do not mess with those, many other things can be.. rearranged in the priority list.
But not my meals.
It is my small attempt on mindfulness, and just general : not stressing.
Rainy days are some of my favourites, providing there is not too much wind. Summer rain can be lovely. Your words make it seem so much more hauntingly beautiful though Cat

I managed to get to the coast and it was very hot and sunny, so no rain of any sort. You are so right though. There has been very little of that weather around this summer.Warm.. or, pleasantly mellow summer days with rain are almost purifying in their freshness and cleansing of the air.
What we have had the last week.. Was not that
But, stormy.. branches breaking of the trees, rain hitting you from the side, the feeling of.. almost wanting to (daringly) try.. to lean forward, directly into the wind.. Curiously wondering.. Could it carry my weight?
Alas, it seems those days are behind us.. And if the weather gods will, we might get the last splendid days of lazy summer warmth and freckled smiles.
(Obviously, just at the official summer break is over, and all the cheerful school kids are going back to school.)

I agree. Some summer rain feels good, but the weather between Sunday and Wednesday was not pleasant at all. I usually don't complain about the weather.
