📚 The Pretty Words and Poetry Dump 📚

"Pity? It's a pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play in it, for good or evil, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."

~Gandalf

The moon envies your light,
soft and steady,
pulling me in—
a tide,
forever yours.

I also love reading and often jot down interesting phrases when they resonate with me. I’ve been passionate about reading since school, but during university, I didn’t have much time to indulge in it. Thanks to the help of domypaper.com , I could carve out a little time to read occasionally. Now that I’m working and no longer burdened by other obligations, I’m able to read a lot more again, and it feels amazing.)

Scars (in homage of this week’s Chaos theme)

Scars are the memories of pain
The reminders of struggle
They tell of tales of sorrow and of misery
Wrapped in a life beaten and worn

Scars are the symbols of growth
Of healing and recovery
speaking to the resilience of their bearer
The creation of new life

Scars are the story of who we are
Both seen and invisible
Telling the tale of a life lived
Showing signs of a life taken

But life means scars, and scars bear witness to life.
