Have you ever made a mistake and talk about it in a message with someone, and just laugh at how it all turned out?

That's what I'm doing. 😂😂😂
 
I'm sadly looking at the apple orchard I used to pick apples at as a kid.
Children climb into the tree to carefully pick the apples to be stored for winter. The adults just rattle the branches and pick up the rest. They need to be processed right away, made into juice or jack or purée. Good ones can stay in one piece or slices and cooked in large jars.
All the big trees I climbed are gone. Apple trees, large ones at least, are pretty much done after fifty to seventy years. If you are lucky, you can sell the wood for a decent amount of money. It's great for building high class furniture.
They planted new trees, really good ones, but...
It's like losing old friends you shared happy memories with.
 
Waiting for my last load of laundry to finish drying and avoiding putting the rest away for a bit.
