I made it! This was an instance when it’s very beneficial to travel so much that you know the back way into the airport, the fastest security gates, and have every frequent traveler clearance known to mankind

I even had time to grab food. And sweet tea. Sweet tea is divine and makes up for the new ulcer that I have and named Baby Drogon.

Two years ago, my teenaged son had debilitating anxiety. He had panic attacks at school, was on meds for gastritis, would come into my room crying in the middle of the night, thought he was having a heart attack on more than one occasion, and was flunking everything.

Last spring he graduated early with straight A's. This fall he enrolled in college as a history major. More straight A's. He's started attending the social functions held by a local men's service club and he's learning to drive.

Today he told me he's thinking about joining the Navy.

TFW you know your kid is going to be okay after all.

I am crazy proud of this boy.
