Anyone watching Joan of ARCadia? SciFi is rerunning it now.

It has a good, creative spin on the cliched family dynamics AND God. He appears to teenage Joan in many forms. I especially liked the little girl w BIG glasses. It's SO incongruous and yet heart warming.

Sometimes I wonder about being an idiot savant. Or at least the 1st half of that! I actually created a stir over that question some time ago at work. I didn't want anyone to test it, just think it thru. I never took chemistry, got SUPER Latin and Physics instead, so when an 'expert' said it would be white, I accepted it until I did test it. I actually asked if we should drop water into acid or VS. They said they learned in chem class to "do as you oughtta and pour acid into waughtta."

Maybe the density was too different? I dunno.

How do I know... it's like tiny loose marbles bouncing around in my skull, dying to break free. I love trivia. One of my fav books is "Extraordinary Origins of Ordinary Things" It's full of OHHHhhhs

Talk about EWWWWWWW! It was so intriguing, I had to try it. And as I said in my French This! story, I AM a pizza snob. I poured some cocoa mix onto two pizza slices... It was hard to actually sample it.

It was GOOD! Choc and HOT peppers mix very well too. Believe it! Enjoy!

I believe we have a troll amougnst us! Since I asked why my 4.92/13 rated story wasn't on either the top 500 or top EXHIB list it got 1 more vote that brought the rating down to 4.71

I didn't think it was possible to vote a ZERO! Except in the comments - and it's not there.

Is there a way I can find WHO low bombed me?

That last vote was a "2" by the way, not a zero.

4.92 X 13 = 64.16 which would round off to 64.

4.71 X 14 = 65.94, which would round off to 66, a difference of 2.

The first 13 votes totaled 64. This would have been 12 votes of "5" and one of "4". After the 14th vote was cast, the total was 66. The second total is two more than the first total, so the last vote had to be a "2".

Either that or there was a sweep, and some "5"'s were eliminated and some lower votes were then cast. Sweeps are not that common, but they do happen,

Good evening all...

You know at one point this thread was full of drama but it's pretty calm compared to the AH. I'm going to stick around here because it's quiet.
Well except for Lady and Lit flirting constantly in the corner.

Oh I'm not jealous. Just a random comment. You are very gracious at letting me join in. It is hot here though so I might be naked on Nude Day afterall.

DSP = Driver Safety Program. I'm a volunteer teacher and trainer. The class gets you the points reduction and insurance discount. It's 8 hours and my students are active and enjoy the class. I even use some of the trivia I put out here in the class.

BTW, I put my 'violent' Subway Slut story on that other site 20 hours ago. It's still 'in process' yet over 1100 have read it so far. The feedback is abundant, rational and even useful. Tnx for the pointer.
