I'm pretty sure I read somewhere last year that Laurel and Manu don't run the Survivor contest. It is run by the authors for the authors, all the checking is done by the moderators and the authors. L&M provide the prizes.

They also move stories that have been put in the wrong category, but they have to be told about it first, usually by the readers.

I'd like to know. I've been receiving death threats and mean and nasty posts to every single story that I write.

Now, he or she is writing that I'm stealing stories and that I'm plaigurizing material and that I'm cheating by reposting my own stories.

I removed stories last year that may have made me win the Survivor Contest because I wanted to rewrite them.

These are all stories that have been rewritten and edited. No where in the Survivor rules does it state that I can not repost my own stories that were previously redrawn. If someone can show me where I am breaking the rules, then I will remove the stories from competition.

These are all stories that did not win any contests and were not used to earn any points in Survivor. I checked with Laurel before I pulled the stories asking her permission to pull them. She told me so long as I pull them before the end of the year, that was okay with her. I deleted them in October or November 2008.

Yes, the rules do state that any story that has previously been posted to Literotica (whether counted for points in the contest or not) is NOT eligible for Survivor points. Only original never before been posted stories can count for points. See below. It's rule #8 on the rules post. So any that you've counted for points need to be removed from your scorecard.

8. Each story or poem must be original work from the entrant for points to be awarded. Stories and poems that had already been posted at Literotica.com, as well as translated, illustrated, narrated, transcribed or templated versions of submissions already entered in the contest are not eligible for points.
