I'm still puttering around in Haines AK tonight...this forest shot was taken right down at sea level near the ocean. It was getting kind of late and I was walking through this dense growth trying to get to the beach for some sunset shots...yes, it was spooky thinking about the abundant bears in this type of place...but I lived, in case you were wondering

This is one of the sunset shots I took once I got to the beach...turns out going back through the wood to camp was even more spooky!

This is a little flower probably in the same area as the two above. I have modified it in Photoshop using a 'posterizing filter'.
