More, more ! Love Alberta and love Canada...hope you will share some of her secrets with us so we can plan the next trip !

There are beautiful stops all over Canada, I have lived in 5 of our provinces form Alberta in the west to New Brunswick in the east.

I would say my two favourite spots are Jasper, AB

albertaboy, I've been through Alberta, BC and Yukon Territory many times. I've seen the beauty of Banff/Jasper but am feeling a need to go back.

One interesting aspect of all those miles is the fact that I have rarely seen a police vehicle...I have never felt insecure...and I have never felt unwelcome. So to my thinking; There's a lot to like.

This is an image of the Banff/Jasper area in Canada. All of the ones I post are views from the highway going through the parks...so anyone can see this amazing place really easily. I liked the BW version better...although I see I still need to adjust them a little brighter for here

This little guy was spotted somewhere in BC Canada...can't remember exactly where (I tend to not take good notes  )

I think of this little flower as a smiling forest dragon...I have no idea what the real name of the flower is, but she looks like a little dragon fairy to me :)

Jumping back up farther north around Skagway, AK and Carcross YT,
This is one of several images I took of lichen (?) on a section of the highway that was a rocky summit terrain. These little lichen were so amazing...like a miniature forest.
I had to walk very carefully from rock to rock to avoid crushing them...I've never seen another place like this.

Here's another of these "grand vista" kind of shots one sees in this part of Canada (Yukon Territory/Haines, AK/Skagway, AK). Maybe it's just me, but I find the only word to describe it as "Big". I included the road for perspective...it's hard to see at this scale, but the road cut can be seen far away in the bottom right of the photo.

It's really amazing country that my photos do not do justice to.

Outside of a few inner city areas in Canada, we tend to hope not to see a cruiser.

If I see one it usually means a speeding ticket.

It looks like the air might be thin up there. :) What a gorgeous view.

Surprisingly not actually - the place in the Alps where we normally ski is much higher up than Whistler/Blackcomb, so we've barely noticed any altitude effect. It is lovely here, and there are so many pistes (trails?!) to choose from that we can easily ski a different set each day.

Been some crazy weather over the past few weeks, with more snow predicted for this weekend. Today was glorious though.

Sunset in Seattle, as seen through pines and my loft window.

What a nice view ! I love visiting Seattle...but being a country boy from way back, I love coming home too...I think it's the traffic that runs me out

That's beautiful, Mr S...

If you wave, I might just see you from up here... ;)

*waves, facing north*

It might be tough to see me now that it's dark but if you see a bright light in the direction of Seattle, that's probably my smile. :)

Thank you! The traffic is terrible here. I try to bike whenever I can but the weather doesn't always cooperate.
