Thank you! The traffic is terrible here. I try to bike whenever I can but the weather doesn't always cooperate.

I'm glad it's not just me ! Of course, the fact that most of my normal everyday driving occurs at about 35 mph
might be part of my problem I like the small neighborhoods there in Seattle...one can tell they were all independent small towns at some point in history...A bicycle would be fun if one lived in those neighborhoods.

I've been through there so many times and no matter which clever route I take...grid lock If I try to venture
off the main arterials...lost If I try to turn around after I'm lost...mad Seattle residents speaking excitedly in sign language

But I still think it's a great city!

Haha, yes, I can tell you're familiar with the area because the neighborhoods do still have distinct identities. I love that as well.

And gridlock, yes. And grumpy drivers. And poorly maintained streets... It's great if you don't get lost and are driving at 2 AM though.

Peak to Peak Gondola

Connects Blackcomb Mountain to Whistler Mountain. Not for the faint-hearted, as at one point it is 1427 feet above the valley floor.

Great! Three sunny days, two cold and snowy days, one day at leisure in the apartment, finding our own entertainment.

We've had 48cm of new snow in the last 24 hours, so today everywhere looks pristine and white.

Nope! Suspended above the ground on a perilously thin-looking cable. We've been on it three times though, and are still alive.

I took advantage of some sun today to go hiking, and this is the north shore of Discovery Park in Seattle (formerly known as Fort Lawton). That front moving in is the leading edge of 3 storms expected to hit this week. Lots of rain makes the plants (and cafe owners) happy at least.
