A Noobs response

And I carry, indeed, a personal ulterior motive in all this.

Being a moron is not a "motive".

but several Lit conservatives are intelligent & educated, and they come up with ideas that also lead to interesting or fun exchanges.

Care to point us in the direction of an educated conservative on the Lit?

I also look up to them

You must be as short as LT

And I'm fed up

GTFO, then. Srsly, quit being a pussy.

Clique-style?

Just stop it. You constantly use words you are too dumb to understand.

It was only two!??? Please correct my 8 word sentence and make it better.

BTW,
These posters that I was referring to - with the exception of Disgustipated, who's sliiiightly less vicious but Hillarious!! so anything goes -
They don't usually post in the Political Threads.

And, despite what some h8rs keep saying, the Political threads are Really good, people there are well informed and educated in those subjects.

That's not only what I'm saying. (I'm kinda shakey in that area). But someone that I know, who knows that stuff really well, had a look, once, and agreed with my own view.

Reminds*cough.
there's a difference between knowing the 'rules' of grammar/punctuation but making a conscious decision to ignore them, and not having a clue but throwing down badly-formed phrases through ignorance.

this is getting odd...

what "Holy Devil" ??
a poster who used to plague this place years ago
Only if he's going to fake a death in the family.
...and write bad poetry of their own as well as posting plagiarised material

Agreed. Which am I and which are you ?

General sense here seems it be that newbies should on day one be expected to understand all the "characters" and the in-jokes.That seems an unrealistic thing to achieve.Personally, I am not young enough to know everything as Oscar Wilde once said.

On that basis,I think I'll probably bid my farewell on here now.

I've been here for six months now, and I still don't know a lot of the in-jokes. However, I did know, from brief observation after wandering into the GB, not to take much of the name-calling and bickering seriously, that there are lots of long-standing relationships, and that their are those who don't suffer fools (by their perception) gladly.

By all means, post whatever you want, whenever you want, but doing so without understanding the culture of the board you're posting in is likely going to have an impact on how well you and your posts are received.
