Like the OP or that Petey guy (his private life is none of my business, but what I care about is the fact that, from what I read, he used to come up with interesting things.)

Winning is all that matters. The group you identify as Liberals think they are interesting, in fact the only interesting people here. They don't care who leaves as long as they win and remain because each, to him or herself, is an absolute jewel of brilliance and a paragon of absolute truth. They hate someone who says there is a black and white, but they seem to hate just as much someone who is not pure to their particular subset of Liberal Orthodoxy.

I agree with this, but also, as someone fairly non combative myself, but who likes discussion, when I have commented I try and make it clear I come in peace. . I'm not here to be involved in bickerings, but I do enjoy some of the goings on.

It can be hard but entertaining to follow who is who when people call 'laurelle' for a name change and talk about old alts and stuff, but as I have no axes to grind or old battles, I think I can just try and read every one with my own eyes and see if they are who I want to chat with.

I don't know why no one has been excessively rude yet to me! I hope they don't start now .
