I wonder if any of the current posters actually realise the name of the thread they're posting on or what it was supposed to be about.

I thought I'd put in my two penn'orth.

I am heartily sick of seeing plastic-smile, blond bimbos and olympic weightlifter musclemorons parading as 'characters' in the plotless porn which parades as 'erotic' on the anglophone internet...

... and of which you can see copious examples on this thread.

How I long to see actual girl-next-door types, complete with a reasonable quota of plainness and outright blemishes taking their place. My God, how believability would be turbocharged. How much more would be actually engaged the mind of your averagely intelligent viewer.

The same goes for the written word. The cringeworthy repetition of the word 'hot' in the story introductions on here is enough to make anyone with half a brain want to crawl into a hole. This is not the real world. A story's erotic content is ruined by the author's desperate attempts to populate it with Hollywood A- listers. Truly pathetic.

It seems you only take things at face value. You only see the visual not the feeling something elicits. There's nothing wrong with that, you just happen to miss the point. When you look at Evard Munch's The Scream, do you simply see someone's face or do you embrace the feeling the subject is having? Look below the surface. There is much more to unravel.
