I'll admit that I don't want hugs from just anyone. I'm not the type that walks into a room and wants to hug each person as I say hello.

But if you are special to me, then I love to hug and I want to receive a REAL hug back from you. No half-hearted, loose armed crap I want it tight, long, and loving. As for the hugger - smelling nice is important, as is confidence in the emotion you trying to convey, the desire to be vulnerable, and warm-hearted.

Stingy with hugs….I think hugs are special to share with someone special. There are family hugs and friend hugs of course. Those hugs aren’t the strong, cozy hugs though where two hearts meet as one. Where you go to feel safe. I will return a hug in social settings if offered, but I tend to stay out of others bubbles unless there is a special connection. So stingy… I understand.
