A positive about Trump: he permanently damaged hypocritical American evangelicals.

So Lord {JHWH}'s Torah laws don't apply? Because a Roman-Jewish torturer and death-squad leader who claimed divine channeling whilst knowing nothing of the godling he promoted (and never cited or quoted because ignorant) set up rules opposite of what his godling ordered? Right.

Yeshua supposedly said he was there to fulfill (obey) Torah, the Law, not overthrow it. He also supposedly (if he ever existed) told his followers to abandon their families and live communally. And rich people go to hell. Those not following his guidance can't really say they're of his faith. Feh.

Biblical texts are great. One can cherry-pick whatever excuses one wants.
What difference does it make? The NT turns over many of the old laws, whether for convenience or because God said so doesn't really matter. Like it doesn't matter if Jonah was really swallowed by a sea monster or Daniel was safe in the lions den or Lazarus was really dead. Jews, Muslims and Christians believe and that's all they care about.

They are pretty good laws wouldn't you say?
Most of the purported laws are in the OT, and no, most aren't very good.
In fact, most are despicable.
In spite of that evangelicals claim the whole bible is to be obeyed, many saying literally.

Do you wear mixed fiber clothing?

Fortunately, lack of a central authority allows self-designated Xians to cherry-pick whatever assumptions and rules they want. Angels and monsters -- all are justified.

Or eat seaweed or mushrooms? To hell with YOU then! Neither are plants that flower on the earth and are given to humans. Steal from Lord {JHWH}, will ya? ZAP! [/me watches thunderbolt and grins]

I see the Georges finally elected a spokesgeorge. Obviously intelligence wasn't one of the qualifications. :)

His stuck record schtick must be a real heartwarmer to the people who have no choice but to interact with him in real life.

Another Trump positive.

Rachel Crooks, one of the women who accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, is running for Ohio’s state legislature.

The 35-year-old Democrat filed petitions on Monday to run for Ohio’s 88th House District, currently represented by Republican Bill Reineke. Crooks told Cosmopolitan that she was inspired to run, in part, because her voice wasn’t heard when she accused then-candidate Trump in October 2016 of kissing her without her consent, allegations which Trump has denied.

“I think my voice should have been heard then, and I’ll still fight for it to be heard now,” Crooks told the magazine. “Americans are really upset with politics as usual, and I want to be a voice for them.”
