A slave's life.

Crap, everyone always forgets about me, I must not be a very good slave damnit! I need to read more GOR.

(I'm kidding, really, don't apologize, I'm just being a snit for change :p )

Well, it's just that you're such a stellar slave, that you leave them behind. We didn't want to set the poor girl up to fail. After all, it's nearly impossible to live up to YOUR example.

Yeah, that's what we meant. Really. :p

What Gracie said.

Really though, I'm the bonehead and was posting in a hurry. I think you are awesome even if you haven't read enough Gor. :)

Coming from someone that hasn't read any of Gor books. LOL

If i posted my honest opinions on Gor i would get booted off this board. ROFL...

Gracie..you are a much kinder person than i could ever hope to be. Got anymore Gummi Bears? LC is gone for the day...so you can sneak me a few....He'll never know.

Well, their's all those headless bears you left.

Perfect example of "my" life as a slave. This happened minutes ago.

I'm tidying up the living room, filling my arms to the brim as i move through the room (his shoes, bags and boxes from the new gaming keyboard he just got, etc.).

He is sitting at his computer playing a game.

He turns to me and says, "would you fix me a pretzel"?

I didn't say, "don't you see my arms are full" or "fix it yourself" or "why don't you ask your computer to fix it". I said, "sure dear". I not only stopped what i was doing and put everything down to make his pretzel, i stopped what i was doing, put everything down and made his pretzel WITH melted butter AND cinnanmon sugar for dipping.

i LOVE to serve. i LOVE to lovingly, thoughtfully, generously serve.

....and the point is that my day is filled with moments just like this as a slave.

Are you sure? Because I'm perfectly willing to say this and I don't think I'll get booted... :D

Living the Gorean lifestyle is like being Barbara Adams and going to court in your Star Trek costume. The Gor books are basically poorly written science fiction novels, and the people who adopt that lifestyle are pretty much the same thing as Scientologists - another cult formed by a science fiction writer's legacy. The reason the lifestyle depicted in the Gor books is successful in that world is because it's not Earth. Things are different on Earth, and you can never hope to achieve the world Gor depicts, because it doesn't exist here. Anybody who claims to live the Gor lifestyle has a very active and satisfying fantasy life and may also have a pleasant sexual relationship too. But Gor is not real and anybody who tells you they live a Gorean lifestyle is only telling you the good stuff, to make it sound like Gor works. It doesn't. If you want to join a bizarre cult based on some smutty science fiction novels, by all means get into Gor. But it's not reality and it's not the way consensual slavery happens on Earth. Try living on your own planet and see how you like that before you fly off to Never-Never Land.

Pretty much!!! Gor to me is one step away from dressing up like Spock and going to a Star Trek convention.

Do you suppose putting that on the 'sub thought of the day' thread would get me massacred?

It's funny you should make that comparison. I spent the past three days at a Star Trek convention that I have been to for the past several years. I go there to interpret for the deaf attendees, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't go, but it is definitely a lot of fun for me. I am a sci-fi fan myself so I get most of the references, and I am kind of a loner too so I definitely understand the freedom that comes with being with a bunch of like-minded people for a weekend...for being in a place where you're not the freakiest one there. And to tell you the truth, a lot of costumes are really outstanding! I haven't seen a lot of good Spock ears but there are some great Klingons, StormTroopers, etc. ;)

My Barbara Adams reference was mostly because I consider her as having been in contempt of court. There's a time and a place to wear your Star Trek uniform (at a convention, for example) and there's a time and a place where you shouldn't (in court, for example). When you take it THAT FAR - in the way Goreans often do - that's when it gets REALLY looney tunes.

(And that's a whole 'nother fetish...)

I'm not active in that thread, so I don't know! You're more than welcome to put it there though - I'll subscribe so I can see the responses. :)

Nothing at all wrong with Star Trek.. in fact the only reason I'm not watching it now is because last time I did, I missed out on a chance to watch Bunny and B play on webcam.

Fucking perv.

Oh, wait. It takes one to know one, doesn't it? :p

I'd normally say sorry for the hijack, but I suppose a day in the life of Slave Bunny fits in here, webcam shows and all.

I'm sorry, gracie. If I were nearby, I'd babysit them for you for a few hours, just so you could get laid. And I don't even like kids, so that's a big sacrifice. :p

Oh wow, now that I see what the thread is about, I would be quite honored if you put it there - up to you of course. I don't think it has to be something that applies to everyone, or that everyone would agree with - just something that is a kernel of wisdom to think about, a tidbit to mull over during the day. :)
