A Song for Everything

In 1999, Bruce got the band back together. He hadn't toured with the E Street Band since 1988. Between 88 and 99 there was the "other band," a solo album, and some outtakes and greatest hits releases. Then we got the Reunion Tour. It was our first time seeing Clarence and the gang in a long, long time. "Light Of Day," which was kind of obscure and not very well-known, was a centerpiece of that tour. The song was core to the message of that tour, which was brotherhood(sisterhood) and hope. I saw a bunch of shows on that tour and by the time it was over, it was baked into my brain. I had to have LOD. Now whenever it pops up in a show, I rock out.

I hope your someone is just around the corner.

Just don’t hate me because I like Joan’s version much more than Bruce’s. 🤣🤣🤣

I also like The Monkees version of I’m a Believer much more than Neil’s version.

I am a rebel! I like what I want! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Screaming again
The reason I chose "screaming" as a clue was just my own little kiss to my oldest friend who departed this world too early. He loved to joke about a Judas Priest song being called "Screaming For Veggies". So much so, that all these years later, when I think of Judas Priest, I hear his wonderful giggle about screaming for veggies.

So here it is, for your review.... Judas Priest. And damn it! They want their veggies!!!!

Garage

"Garageland" by The Clash. Written in response to a critic who wrote that they were a garage band that should go back to the garage.

A parent's love

I just found this Paul Simon song I've never heard before. I love it, and am definitely sending it to my daughter today. 😍
