Amanda felt so weird, a million thoughts were going through her head, and when she looked over at Brady, she could tell he felt the same way. He looked like he was trying not to think about it. She just kept eating her soup, hoping he wouldn't say anything. It had been an accident, right? So why be so worried about it? They'd kissed all the time when she was younger. But now that she was eighteen, and he was well...hot...it just felt different.
"Uh, me too. Yeah, good idea. Want some help?" she set down her soup, getting up to help him, not realizing her jeans button had come undone. She walked into the laundry room, helping him put all the clothes into the dryer, then turned to smile at him. Her jeans had fallen down a few inches, exposing the tiny little tattoo that she had gotten when she turned seventeen that she had managed to keep well-hidden all year. She'd designed it when she was sixteen, and at seventeen had convinced a friend who was a tattoo artist to do it, as well as her belly button piercing, which was also a secret.
It wasn't until Brady stared downwards that she noticed. She immediately pulled her jeans up a few inches, buttoning them. "Oh my god..." she whispered, pulling a strand of her hair, as she normally did when nervous. "Don't tell...please." her eyes pleaded with him. It was true, she was 18 now, but her parents would still be furious. They didn't like piercings or tattoos and especially wouldn't like the fact that she got them at seventeen.
