Abs is PMSing...

Know what's ironic? I haven't had a right ovary since 2002, but I still have hideous periods and pain on the right as well as left side. I have a great OB/Gyn, but if she tells me one more time that phantom pain on the right "feels weird" instead of "is just as excrutiating as the pain on the other side," I'm going to smack her.

I'll hold her down, that's cruel.

I knew it hadn't been 28 days. No wonder I sucked down all those Cadbury mini eggs yesterday and no wonder I had a meltdown this morning! 12 days between periods--that has got to be a new record for me. Anybody coming near me is going to die, just so you know.
12 days? i suggest getting yourself checked out. Seriously.

*camps out momentarily, waiting for Thursday-ish*

I seem to have lost mine last month. Maybe you... no, no. That can't happen. *seriously disturbed*

Did you check the lost and found dept?

You can't kick me, Abs, because I'm likely to hit back twice as hard, and then we'll have a full on cat-fight on our hands

But do you know what?

I once read somewhere that humans are the only females in the animal world who suffer from PMS and / or period pains. Apparently it has a lot to do with processed foods and sugar. The more you eat, the worse your symptoms that month will be.

Try it out next month and see what happens.

Alternatively, if you're able to ignore the physical discomforts, PMS can be quite good fun. It's a way of doing all the things you've thought of doing, but never quite had the balls to do. I once dismantled an entire set of roadworks when I was PMSing, and it was the most fun I'd had in a long time. I also add things to signs in town from time to time (Eg. "Please do not let your dog foul - tie a plastic bag under its ass, and that should save you the hassle of picking up the turds"

The glass is half full ;) Hope you're doing better, Abs :rose:

Thanks, beautiful. I've been checked out, repeatedly. I need surgery, but I have to jump through some hoops for that. And just for the record, before the one 12 days ago, it had been 8 weeks. *sigh*
Soulsister. *sigh*

Loving this thread, as much as I can love anything at the moment. I haven't slept more than 6 hours in the last 48 and I'm feeling unstable as hell. My abdomen feels like it's been steamrolled. My boobs feel like they have just been released from a month long imprisonment in a vice grip.

I nearly ran over a woman in the clinic parking lot yesterday, just because she asked me to move my car over. (The lot was poorly planned and the car on the other side of me parked funky, making it difficult for me to get far enough over to allow the woman's child in the car.) She was courteous, she was concerned she would ding my car while trying to get her child in, but my god it PISSED ME OFF.

I got into the neurologist's office (Hell of a place to be while pmsing, dontcha think? :D ), signed in and proceeded to burst into tears in front of 30 people.

I spent the day bouncing between serious anger and serious depression. I'm surprised that my SO didn't tie me up and put me in the closet.

I haven't been around people yet today, but it's early yet, lol. <Getting out sign that says, "Don't FUCK with me">

*Oh, and I'll take that low hug. I'm one of those that get cramp relief from being rubbed or hugged*

Hugs. You could try to channel all your mood shifts onto me. I'm free and home and will probably not be encountering many people. No imminent murders or likely drama scenes.

BTDT. Have the t-shirt. You're just making up for that gap.
