Justin snapped his head at Starblade. For some reason, Justin wasn't too happy at the fact Starblade was protecting him. Starblade... Forget about me. I don't need protective spells to gaurd me. Go back down the moutain and warn the others that there are other things we need to worry about than sla- catmen... Go, Now!

Throwing a transparent dagger for Justin, if you're in too much trouble, concentrate on the blade, and ask where its siblings are.

Then Starblade with a rush of winds and blowing leaves disapeared. Standing on top of the house. Starblade dropped down to the ground. Myst, we have a problem, Justin thinks he can handle it but there's this huge animal thing.

Justin nodded and watched as Starblade disapered. The second he was gone he pulled out his sword and glared at the beast in front of him. "So... what are you? Are you a creature of this forest? Or could you be a beast that was ran out of his territory, and is now searching for a new one here? Or..."

Justin's eyes changed colors as he saw the beast move back a little, and its fur slightly prick up. It was prepairing for a attack. Justin pulled out his sword and lifted it, setting it up where the blade almost touched his nose as he watched the beast growl and drool with deadly intent. "... Could be that you're a demon that lost its way?"

The creature roar and lept forward, and Justin growled as he flipped his sword downwards in a attack position, and then swung up, hoping to meet with the beast's claws.

Myst

Caught up in her own thoughts Myst failed to notice Tasha until her words caught Myst off guard.Thank you Myst I appreciate your help i couldn't do this without you and the others to help me. I am glad i can call you friend. I wish for you to know that you and the others are welcome here for as long as you wish. Thoughts of disbelief went through Myst's head which must have shown on her face for Tasha continued. I will not judge you in any way for anything. Be it race.. a past crime it matters not.... The only way you would not be welcome among me and my people is if you had been the one to attack us or bring harm to us, and you have not. I would lay down my life for yours................. Should you decide to leave. As far as I am concerned if you ever need help. All you have to do is say so or send a massive, and I will be there to aid you in any way that I can.

Smiling at Tasha, Myst says the only thing she can to Tasha's words. "Thank you Tasha it helps to know that you accept me and welcome me, I am not sure what I shall do once you are all safe. Just know that I am here until then for sure it is a promise I make to you. I hold my promises as some holds their words of honor." Seeing Tasha nod that she understood and appreciated Myst's words. Tasha turned and spoke to Grok and Siliva giving them instructions about what else needed to be done.

Slipping away from Tasha to continue her own preparations. Turning to Andre as he comes up to her saying,"Sure, Myst I'll help prepare for leaving." Nodding her thanks as Andre continues speaking in a quieter voice. "You know, these people will need someone like you to help them. The others are still young, and they make foolish mistakes. Your wisdom and skills in healing will be greatly needed. But if you decide not to stay with them, I would ask that you allow me to travel with you. There is much that we could learn from each other." Andre and Tasha's words made Myst feel much better.

Speaking to Andre quietly, "I have promised Tasha that I would stay until they are safe after that I know not what I will do. If I should leave then it would be a pleasure to have your company on my travels. Tho if I stay I would like to have you stay so that we may learn together and teach those who need us."

Thinking maybe both Tasha and Andre had been reading her thoughts from a few minutes earlier. Andre's next words in her mind as he uses mind speak to communicate with her, almost confirming her suspicions. There is much that I could teach you about guarding your thoughts, and far speaking, if you wish the knowledge.Whirling around as Starblade drops to the ground behind her and Andre. Starblades message rushing through her mind. Myst, we have a problem, Justin thinks he can handle it but there's this huge animal thing. Not bothering to turn Myst just yells out to Tasha, "COME HERE WE HAVE A PROBLEM JUSTIN IS IN TROUBLE!!"

Quickly explaining to Tasha and Andre what Starblade can tell me of the creature Justin is facing. Myst makes up her mind, "Tasha go with Starblade help Justin. Between those of us left we will get the people to the caves, meet us there when you are done. Starblade knows how to contact me if need be. Be safe!" Saying this in mindspeak as well to Starblade so that he would know what is to be done.

Thank you Myst....I know I can Trust you and the others with my people. Tasha said quickly grabing Her bow and arrow's as well as making sure her brothers sword was secure at her side. Doing her best to mind speak she told Starblade. I am ready.

Nodding to Myst. Unless you know magic, that bow won't help. He messages to Tasha as he watches her pick it up.

Turning to Tasha. I've never seen a creature like that before, but then again I have not come in contact with non-people that much. I do not believe if we go to help Justin, that we will really be able to help him. He is like a bladesinger, I believe we would only get in his way. Besides if he wanted our help, I gave him a way to contact me.

Searching the skies, Starblade, chirped out something and his hawk flew over.

Justin fell to the ground shoulder and neck first. In a matter of short minutes, the beast had gotten in a few good blows, and Justin was only able to get in one good shot. Justin groaned in pain as he stood up. His stomache wound wasn't too bad, but it did make it that much harder to move. The second he was on his two feet, the beast lept forward again and swung its front right paw at Justin's head.

Justin ducked and dodged to the right. He shifted his sword so its point was directly pointed at the cat-beast's side. But before he could touch the ground and make the move, the beast's tail shifted, and lunged at Justin, hitting him in the abdomen pushing him into the air, and into the moutain side. Justin layed there, inside the imprint body made upon impact. "Damn... That tail's not just for balance..." Justin pulled himself out of the imprint, and droped to the ground and into the grass. He slowly pulled himself to his feet and went to brag his sword, but relised it wasn't there. "Shit!"

The beast didn't hesitate to move in and swing its left paw at Justin. Justin lifted both of his arms and blocked the blow, but the impact was more than enough to lift him off of the ground and into a tree. Justin's body bounced off the tree and hit the ground. He quickly got up and leaned against the damaged tree, trying to stop the spinning. "What the hell is this thing?!"

The beast reared back and lunged forward again. Justin was able to dodge out of the way again and gain some distance away from the creature. The beast lunged at Justin as soon as he leaned against another tree, and Justin dodged out the way again, gaining even more distance. While he was running towards the imprint in the stone wall, Justin began to silently mutter a spell under his breath, and clouds began to gather over the area, avoiding the damaged village and the path leading to the caves.

Justin jumped on a large rock and jumped again, just enough for him to grab a part of the imprint and lift himself up to grab his sword. He droped to the ground and looked at the beast, who was shaking its head due to it hitting its head on the tree. "C'mon ya bastard! Come and get me!"

The beast turned around completely and moved forward, heading right for Justin. The second it jumped up, Justin ran forward and swung his sword up, blocking the creature's sharp claws, then pulled back and swung again, cutting the creatures side. The creature screemed and jumped back to get away from Justin's sword before it could do anymore damage. It then ran forward, its jaws aiming for Justin's head. Justin readied his sowrd, and swung forward. But before the blade could connect with the creatures jaws, the beast lifted its front legs and blocked the sword. Justin, though caught by surprize rolled under the creatur and moved away, trying to get some distance to regroup.

But the beast used its tail to pin Justin to the ground. Justin barely had time to lift his arms to cover his head as the beast lifted his paws and swung at Justin, cutting him deeply with one paw, and forcefully rolling him with the other. Justin ignored the blood and pain, and pushed himself up so he could at least be on one knee. He lifted his sword and shifted it to its side, putting himself into a defense position.

Justin and the creature stared at each other for what it felt like years, but only a mater of short minutes. Justin's spell started to take effect, and it began to drizzle rain. Then it started to pour, but neither Justin, nor the beast made a move. Then, without warning the beast moved forward and swung one of its paws at Justin. Justin jump over the beast and while landing, sliced the creature's tail.

The beast roar in pain and turned around completely. 'How can it turn so fast after I cut its tails off!?' Justin was completely caught off gaurd, this allowed the beast to swing its paw and hit Justin, sending him rolling at a fast pace. Justin quickly got up and ran torwards the thing, but when he got close, he moved left and cut the creature while still running, then turned, and stabed into its' left hind leg. The beat roared and pulled away from Justin before turning and head butting into Justin's sternum, and lifting him slightly off the ground. It ran into the same treeit ran into before, but this time it lifted its head and used Justin as a cushion. Justin grunted and stabed his sword into one of the creatures eyes forcing it to let him go. As soon as he landed on the ground, Justin Swung his sword again, only to be caught by the beast's jaws, and crushed a second later.

Justin's eyes went wide when he relised what just happened, the sword that he carried almost all his life was quickly shattered by an overgrown cat. But before he could get a grip on himself, the beast crashed into Justin again and ran for the same tree, this time it came to a abrupt stop and lifted its head, vaulting Justin into the air, and when Justin began to fall, slamed its paw on Justin's chest, and painfuly pinned him to the tree. Justin couldn't help but yell in pain as the creature applied pressure, causing some internal breathing, and also making all the previous wounds on Justin to start bleeding. Justin's body started to go limp, his soaked hair covered his face as his head started to drop.

Justin lifted his right arm straight up, pointing at the sky above. The rain seemed to pour even harder on the two as the creature glare with its one eye at Justin, who, even with so much energy wiped from him, had his arm in the air. Justin lifted his head just enough to meet with the creatures, and grinned as his eyes changed into a lightning blue. "Got ya..." The sound of thunder could be heard across the land as a bolt of lighting came crashing down, shattering the tree and shocking the beast before the tree's explosion sent both Justin and the beast flying.

The beast landed first, smoking, and impailed with several pieces of wood in its chest, back, and throat. Justin was next to land flat on the ground, but unlike the beast, he wasn't shocked by the bolt of lighting, since he was the one who summond it. But the tree's explosiondid imbed a chunk of wood into his right shoulder. But it didn't matter to Justin, whatever the thing he fought was, it was dead now, the fight was over. The rain also started to let up as Justin pushed himself into a sitting position, and pulled himself with his good arm to a tree so he could get out of the rain. His breath was shallow and tired, but that didn't stop Justin from taking the chunk of wood and yanking it out. Justin groaned and looked at the now dead beast. "Thats... what you... Get... For eating my... Sword... You bastard..."

 

[LadyFairy]

I made a Vow Starblade. Take me to him NOW! Tasha said. She didnt wish to offend Sarblade in any way, but she wouldnot leave Justin to fight alone. If you wish to leave after you take me to him by all means the choice is yours. I shall take full responsability for my actions, but i will keep my vow with or without your help. She said moving at a run in the direction the call had come from earler.

 

[Donsehan]

Feeling the anger in her mind, Starblade thought, what should I do? I wish uncle were here. Closing his eyes, he turned away from everyone and covered his face, with his arm. Sitting down he sent his hawk off with Myst. Then pulled out his hooks, and started to concentrate. His eyes grew wide, as clouds gathered, he stood up, Who's doing that? Tasha?

Tash didnt know where the clouds were coming from. She didnt care all she wanted to do was reach Justin. Moving thru the tree's as fast as she could until she saw him.

Slowly moving forward. So that he did not think he were being attacked again. Breathing hard from running her worrie, and anger that Ryet hadnt helped her get there sooner. Tasha spoke. Are you alright??? I am sorry i could not make it sooner.... Seeing Justin spin in her direction she stoped where she was and waited until he recognized her.

Seeing the wounds on his body Tasha said. Let me help you..... The others are moving the villagers. We have some time..... We are to meet them at the caves when we can. She moved forward again, stopping not far from him, and waited for him to give her permission to aid him.

Justin slowly stood to his feet and limped over to the hilt of his sword, the only thing that was left of his sword. Every time he made a move, a small pool of blood driped out of his side. But he ignored the pain as e knelt down an picked up the hilt and avsent mindedly placed it back into its holder.

The second he stood to his feet he relised that somebody was behind him. 'Are you alright??? I am sorry i could not make it sooner...' Justin snapped around and placed his hand on his sword forgeting that it had almost absolutely no blade.

'Let me help you..... The others are moving the villagers. We have some time..... We are to meet them at the caves when we can.' When Tasha moved forward, Justin took a step back. His eyes were blurry from the rain and exhaustion, and his body was on natural defenses. Finaly, his body just gave in and colasped in exhaustion and loss of blood, rendering the wolfr unconsious.

 

[Donsehan]

Following Tasha, Rayet, jumped down, from the trees arriving to see Justin collapse onto the ground. Noting the blood, maybe he needed more help than I thought. he sent to Tasha.

He bent down noting the blood, don't worry Tasha, he's not hurt too badly Pressing his hands against the wounds, Rayet started chanting, "Fallana, aerdrie faenya, elistraee n'tellquessir fallana. "

The wounds closed and Justin stopped bleeding. I'm afraid we're going to have to move before I can do anymore, the storm might have caused some complications. Rayet, looked up into the sky, searching the horizon, Yes, we will have some problems, we have to move as fast as we can

Moving forward Tasha kept her thougts as guarded as she could. She was very worried about Justin. Helping Starblade as best she could to move Justin. Between the two of them they were able to start moving away from the area. Tash Hoped that they did not hurt him farther by moving him, and prayed that he would be alright.

 

[Donsehan]

Making their progress as fast as they could, Rayet, was getting tired fast, his eyes, still wide and full of fear, searched the skies. He pulled his hood over his head, and continued on.

Tasha, we have a problem, you'll have to render me unconcious, and hide me somewhere fast

Why? whats wrong? Tasha asked Starblade in mindspeak. She could tell that he was getting as tired as she was. Quickly looking around finding the old building in the woods that she had thought to bring everyone to earler. Tasha new that they were still a good distance from the caves. Do you think you can make it to the building there???

 

[Donsehan]

If I can see you later, I will tell you my story. For now, the building will do, but you'll have to hide my weapons. He started to undo the clips that held his equipment on him.

 

[LadyFairy]

After making it inside and helping to lay Justin down Tasha took her cloak off and layed it over him. Taking Starblade's wepons she lay them beside Justin and sat next to him. leaning against one of the walls.

Will you be alright???? she asked again.

 

[Donsehan]

I need you to knock me out. He messaged her, I don't know, it depends on what happens, if they find me.

 

[LadyFairy]

They??? alright i'll do as you ask but you have some explaining to do when you wake up... Tasha said as she walked over to him. Hitting him in the back of the head with the hilt of her brothers sword. Knocking him unconsious.

Sliding him over against one of the other walls so that he was safe. She did her best to cover him with his cloak as well. Checking on them both sevral times before slidding down next to Justin and passing out herself.

 

[Donsehan]

Hearing his skull crack, he hoped that they wouldn't find him, and wondered why Tasha had hit so hard, hoping he wouldn't die as the world swam black.

In the sky, there were three of them. Two of them wearing very heavy armor, the third, was wearing tight fitting robes. They were conversing "where is he?"

The warriors, were scanning the ground. "I don't know," said the one in robes.

"Surely you must be able to feel him?" One of the warriors asked.

"No, that power that summoned the storm, is gone as well. For all we know, it could've been something else that summoned the storm. Magic thrives though, he must be here somewhere. He was only comfortable in magic filled places." The warriors nodded.

"You think we should wait for him?" Eyes still scanning the ground.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea, but I doubt he's around," taking in a deep breath, "hmm, his magic definitely lingers in the air. You think we should stay around and see if he reapears?" He said looking to the other two.

"I doubt he will, he always knows when we're coming. Maybe we should try to force him to come to us this time."

Justin woke up a hour or so later, groaning lightly as he sat up. 'Where... Am... I?' As Justin stood up completely, he noticed that both Tasha and Starblade was asleep. "What... Happened?"

Thoughts of the battle with the giant cat-like beast flashed through his mind. He slowly covered his eyes as the memory of the beast biting through his sword as if it was nothing, and the memory of him summoning a lightning bolt to electrify the beast and cause the tree to explode.

Justin slowly walked torwards the door but stoped when he relised that he was holding a cloak in his hand. He turned around and placed it on Tasha. Then walked out the door and pulled out his sword. "So it wasn't a bad dream... It is broken..."

 

[LadyFairy]

Waking as she felt something being placed over her. Tasha opend her eye's. Looking around she saw Starblade still asleep and she hoped that she hadnt hit him too hard.

Seeing her cloak over her she smiled, and saw Justin the door way. Getting slowly to her feet she asked.Are you ok? i was really worried about you.......

Justin turned around slightly, his eyes were now calm, but did have a hint of sadness. "So you're awake?" Justin carefully placed his hand on his side and smiled. "I'll be fine after a bit..."

Justin turned back around and looked at the sky, trying to piece things together, but found that he could not. "Tasha... What... Happened?"

 

[Donsehan]

The three, swept over the area, inspecting the village, "He was here, I can feel it, as well as you can see the feathers. He definitely was here."

The warriors were walking around, the other one, still looking at a feather, crushed it in his hand. "Where have you gone? Abomination?" As he stood, looking around.

One warrior, inspecting the dead bodies, and "hey looks like he killed some of these cat things." They rushed over to him, the other warrior saying "That's definitely his work, but that's not like him."

"Come, we can talk to our ancestors. They may have seen him. The three of them glided off into the forest.

Myst

Moving quicky with Andre, Grok's and Silvia's help and several other able bodied adults. The town was soon cleaned out, it had taken a few trips but they had gotten it done.

Leaving Andre and the rest at the caves Myst had just returned to the villiage wanting to remove any trace of which way they had gone. When she noticed Starblades bird, speaking out loud to the bird Myst asks. "Wonder why he left you behind, but I would bet that you should go to the caves or are you waiting on me?"

Then it hit fear! Fear like she had never felt before. Feeling panic take hold on her Myst turns to the building trying to get there. Making it inside not understanding why she had been drawn inside when normally she preferred the open she didn't know. But once inside she felt calm seem to take a slight hold within her mind. Giving her the chance to process the feeling, the stone around her neck vibrates giving a small pulse and then nothing. Crying out with a great feeling of loss Myst realizes its not her but Starblade.

Setting her mind out opening it up trying to scense Starblade. Finding no sign of his now familiar presence, Myst moves to go out of the building in search of him. When she spots three figures not far from the old smithy building. There speech some like Starblades, they were picking up feathers and crushing them as they spoken.

Stepping back quietly Myst's hand comes up to grip the stone that Starblade had given her. Tho they looked like Starblade there were sutle differences with the way they moved making Myst wonder if these were those that Starblade had spoke about. Closing her eyes she willed them not to notice her or deside to check the building she was in.

Looking back out the crack of the door she watches as the others take to the air. Before slipping out the door and into the haze of the morning. Welcoming the forest as she begins to run, something was wrong and she didn't like the feel of it. Where had Tasha and Starblade gone to and was Justin ok... The main thing were the villiagers safe. Looking up as she spots Starblade's compainion winging through the trees above her.
