I noted the increased anger with effexor Doc. For me, it was really more like an irritability, my patience for and ability to put up with even minor irritations was far less.

That's precisely how I feel/react when depressed. Paxil stopped that, but at far too great a price for me. "Emotional flatliner," to borrow Huckleman's phrase, was so totally true. I'd rather have the irritability -- and least I felt SOMETHING. My family might opt for the other.
