AH Official 2008 Prom Date Thread!

Well, yeah!

I mean, I know that when men watch women fight it's in the hope that clothes will be lost along the way.

:D

eeeehehehehehe....

OK, I need to quit posting, so I can lose my virginity at the prom. Kind of traditional, yanno?

May 17th.

Saturday.

(I'll need time to do my hair.)

That'll pretty much be Sunday the 18th here. Not sure if I'll be around...weekends are never great for me.

Anyhoo, on the off chance I make it, can someone explaint eh whole prom deal to me? I get that it's a school dance, but that's about all.

It's the social event of the year in American High Schools--especially for graduating seniors.

Both sexes go to great lengths to look their best and snag just the right date.

Some will remember it all their lives--others would rather forget it--depending on where one stands in the social hierarchy of teendom. ;)

We could go for Friday the 16th (noon here in the U.S.A) and that means the Prom would be on Saturday for you, and will continue on through Saturday as well (Sunday for you, Saturday for the rest of us).

How do people like that idea?

Ah, yes. One of those excruciating rituals of passage. I was the flat-chested girl with braces, hovering behind the punch bowl in a frilly concoction chosen by my mother, wishing I could just disappear.

I guess I would be committing a fashion faux pas if I wore the same chainmail dress again this year, huh?

Baby, if it doesn't, I've got an entire shadehouse worth's more out back. Would you like some in green?

Believe me, I can cover you in orchids. Especially if you aren't wearing anything else.

Ooo, now that's an interesting idea for a dress, and that last one is a perfect color for me. *right click and save and think photoshop*

Mmm . . . chainmail dress. More difficult than taffeta and chantily lace, but oh, so worth it . . .

This is why we have the Prom! So you can do it over again as a sexy, busty, and able to drink girl.

Afraid so. You'll have to go for plate armor instead
