Aine - A New RP Thread (OOC)

I was told by a Halo 3 friend of mine that Ozzies find American accents to be quite sexy.

On that note, I should be going to bed. It's after 4 am here. See ya'll soon.

Yes yes. well I can speak for myself in which case......YES! however i have also been told by american friends of mine that americans find aussie accents sexy too...having never heard an aussie accent myself I wouldnt know...lol cant hear the accents unless they are very ocher and we dont all have heavy acher accents either.

side note: it is only 5:15pm on wednesday here :)

And yes, wars, many wars in fact, have broken out over religion, which is just stupid.

I won't go that way... Being an atheist/pagan/free thinker that is not a subject I'm very fond of. Each and every one is entitled to his/her belief and that's it for me. I try not to step on anybody's toes as long as nobody tries to step on mine.

Remember the athalan way, young one!:D

And, on this moment, I'm more worried how am I going to get my guy out of that mess he's in without destroying a piece of the forest nor killing anyone. Including himself!

It's already that late on Wednesday over there? Wednesday is only two hours old where I am. Wtf?

As for accents, I can't say whether I like them or not, seeing as how I haven't heard many personally. But it may be different considering I'm a guy, and a Yank to boot. :D

i think in general aus is about 12 hours ahead of US but can range between 9-14 or something...but yeah :)

well people tend to assume im irish before i speak...then they go oh...your aussie....

Eh, religion ain't my thing either. No more talk on the subject please.

As for Nayil, whatever he does, the elf will most likely get out of the bloody way. He won't stand a chance at stopping the giant without inflicting some rather permanent damage, i.e. cutting a hamstring or the throat.

Might be that you're of Irish decent. The Brits did use Austrailia as a penal colony before they gained independence.

I tend to get wired when I hear an English speaker try to speak Portuguese.

The languages are just too much different between them. We use sounds that are simply unspeakable for other languages. Words like "olhar" (look/glare) come out something like "owl-arh"... Its pretty good for a laugh, although, if the other person has a sense of humour...

thats very true. being very pale, green eyed and really dark hair probably doesnt help lol

i used ot be able to speak fluent italian...but after not having anyone to speak to in italian ive forgotten much of it

I'm really considering to make him go berserk and run off. The boar's carcass is starting to get really good looking hurling material...

And that may give him time to cool down and the others to think for a moment before doing anything else.

Kalika, how much stopping power does Thorne has? If, I say, about 330 pounds of boar would come out of the blue, would the cat be able to catch it?

Well, if Nayil abandons it, then the elf will take care of it. The more food he can get at the moment, the better. He hasn't eaten anything substantial for a few days, or maybe weeks. He does have the rabbit, but after cleaning and cooking it, there won't be much left to eat.

I have a question for anybody here: do birds still chirp at 2:30 in the morning where you are? Because they do here, and it sure does get annoying.

Qyron: he is very large at the moment...about twice the size of a adult male tiger so yeah hed catch it....:)

Jedi: yes they do. and yes it bloody is lol.

I'm starting to settle things down on my mind and I don't think that picking a fight would do very good on Nayil's reputation in the future... I think I'll use the elf's warning and make him cool down but stay alert. And the guy needs some rest and some sleep. And he's lost his water skin and probably has a ruined backpack now. And has to stock up on food... And have something to eat...

Most birds don't sing during the night back here, for the exception of owls and some other birds of prey that do night hunting. But we have cricket's! A lot of them!

Ah, hell, don't feed the oversized kitten. That cat can feed its own damn self. Besides, the boar would probably be a light snack for the cat. Put it to use by giving it to someone who would actually greatly benefit from it. :D

Ah, good, to hear Kalika. Now I know that the birds here aren't the only ones who can't tell what time of day it is.

ive always wanted to know this.....you got magpies in the US?

Magpies...umm...I don't know if they live where I am, but they could very well live in other parts of the country. In others, I don't know, but the odds are they do.

It just might be worth it to fly to the U.S., provided of course that you spend plenty of time here to see the sights. A week wouldn't be long enough, nor two weeks. You'd need to spend at least a month here to see and appreciate the natural wonder and man-made glory that resides within this great nation. I'm a native of the U.S., lived here all my life, and I've yet to see even 1% of what this nation has to offer. So, yeah, come to the U.S. and see the splender this land of the free has to offer.

:D

Why in the world do foreigners like Disney Land so much? The U.S. has so much more to offer, and for cheaper prices. Trust me, if you go to Disney Land or Disney World, or any other big theme park, your bank account will take a serious beating. You will end up paying $10 for something that would normally cost you $2 elsewhere. Plus, the crowds are horrendous at those places. Good luck getting onto any rides. You're better off going to a National or State park and seeing some incredibly beautiful sites.

And who is Anne Rice?

i would definately be visiting those as well...no fear :)

i love nature...would love to see mustangs in their natural environment..we have em here but we call em brumby's but they are just wild horses... mustangs are a breed i think from memory...
