Aine - A New RP Thread (OOC)

i would definately be visiting those as well...no fear :)

i love nature...would love to see mustangs in their natural environment..we have em here but we call em brumby's but they are just wild horses... mustangs are a breed i think from memory...

Yes, Mustangs are a breed apart. They are of mixed blood, meaning they won't be winning any thoroughbred contests, let alone being allowed in one. But just because they aren't thoroughbred, doesn't mean they aren't any good. Ever heard of or seen the movie Hildago? A tribute to the Mustang if there ever was one.

OOOO he is a a not so well known marvel character yes???? I remeber him from marvel:alliance videogame....omg. i have admitted i am a video game nerd. *sob*

Let it out, Kalika, do not be ashamed of being a nerd. I myself am a low level Star Wars nerd, who happens to have a level 12 Jedi in the Star Wars d20 game. ;)

*laughs* i am big video game nerd...i know someone who is A HUGE star wars buff....ALL the books....all the movies....can quote most popular sections in full...even knows about the blooper of the storm trooper walking into the lifting door when they are rescuing leia in the first movie....lol

i really like starwars but im not that bad :)

and the books dont do it for me so much...i love fantasy, paranormal fantasy and paranormal and some crime fiction :) as well as all wiccan/magick books...well the good quality ones anyway not the '50 love spells for the new age girl" *rolls eyes*

I would call him a not well known motor mouth and a not well know maniac.

JK, mustangs are very respected here, you know? They are much like our own Lusitano's. It's a shame Mustangs are considered mongrels to the majority of the breeders, but I think its for the best. It a wild breed that's better off being left alone.

And aren't brumbies being seen as pests recently overthere, kalika? I read in a magazine one of these days they are to be put down.

Hmm...your friend sounds like an even bigger Star Wars nerd than me; of course, I don't claim to be the world's biggest Star Wars nerd, not by a long shot.

As for the rest of what you said...um, don't know how to respond to it, so I'll just let it be. :D

Well, you put it in a statement which I am incapable of commenting on, hence why I don't know how to respond. I'm a guy, what do you expect?

Qyron: what's the ETA on your IC post?

I don't like to sees horses put down myself, but according to what I've read, they are endangering other species, most of them native to Australia. I don't see a point in losing a specie much more rare and unique over a much common one.:( but that's my 2 cents in the bucket.

You're a wicca? Should have guessed. What school? Or are you a free "witch"?

I also used to be a great game nerd. And then I found Linux and saw the light... But I still play a lot of god games. Ever heard of Neverwinter Nights?

good point :) sorry.

I like *repeats self* books....what kind of books do you like jedi? *cheeky grin*

Give me a couple of hours. Tomorrow morning, worst case scenario. Go to sleep or you'll fall over your keyboard sleeping.

Try NWN1. It has tons of expansions, both free (as in free beer) and commercial. And it still is undergoing some improvements, so the thing is still a living animal.

Eh, I'm not likely to collapse over my keyboard, but yes I shall be going to bed in a minute or two.

Kalika: I like primarily sci-fi/fantasy books. Star Wars is the only sci-fi I've read, and in the fantasy genre, I've read Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, the Harry Potter series, Eragon and Eldest, and the Children of Hurin.

I tend to sense when someone is wicca. Don't ask why... long story. And a boring one.

And the character you are playing in the IC thread is a somewhat classical.

Big Tolkien fan myself. But don't show me Harry Pothead.:D
The other ones... well...

oh i love the eragon books :) and im a harry potter buff lol :) ive read lotr but i found it long winded and not my style....loved the movies though

fantasy: david eddings is fantastic traci harding is great...lots of research there

and the paranormal fantasy stuff i love j.r ward (oh baby vampires *purrs*) sherrilyn kenyon, both of these 2 border almost into erotica but not quite enough to be put in that genre, and keri arthur and kelley armstrong

common point: vampires, werewolves other supernatural beings, and sherrilyn kenyon is a twist on the pantheons and selling your soul...they are FaNtAsTiC

whats children of the hurin?

whats children of the hurin?

Children of Hurin I would risk it's another JRR Tolkien book. Hurin is the father of the dwarven people. And YES! I am a dwarven fan!

Ever read Dracula, from Bram Stoker? Good book.

Children of Hurin is a story in the Lord of the Rings universe, set thousands of years before The Hobbit. Decent read.

No, Hurin wasn't the father of the dwarven people. The book Children of Hurin doesn't focus on dwarves, hell, they barely have anything to do with the story.

not really a fan of tolkiens writing style unfortunately...

random subject change im excited! 10 more posts and i get an avatar i shall need to find something

Never mind my comment!

Go for it. It's always exciting to become a little more "real" in a bits and bytes world.

random question: anybody has a suggestion to my IC? I'm officially stuck in the mud...
